I loved this, it gave me Bridgerton vibes with witches, enemies to lovers, but also a nice relaxing read as well, I would 100% recommend this!

A fantastic, thrilling, tense and heartbreaking read. The characters were multi-layered and well developed. The names were also exciting, original and unique. Each character practically had the potential to have their own novella, a clever hint by the author. I would love to know more about certain characters that were not given a brief backstory. As for the main protagonists, Rune & Gideon, wrong but right as well, what chemistry! I can't wait to find out what happens next, will their paths cross again? It is inevitable!

I did not want it to end. It’s so long until the next book, Jan 2025. It’s a duology so only one more.

I think the book and pov would have benefited from duel narration.

this isnt anything like other stories I have read/heard! I cant wait to continue the story very interesting and full of emotions. I enjoy the flickering between lovers and enemies. The voice actors were amazing aswell!

I saw the twist coming from a mile away but I honestly loved the journey. It's fun, a little dark with all the blood magic but felt weirdly light but I think that's because of who I felt Rune was. Absolutely loved the narration also. I devoured this book quicker than I thought I would. Thoroughly enjoyable and loved the characters. Definitely plan to find out what happens next.
