I'm a huge fan of fantasy romance books, especially ones written by women and featuring a strong female main character. This book does not disappoint. I absolutely loved it and I can't wait until the next book is out. Well worth a listen!

Great performance by the narrator. Full of emotion and whilst the world and character building took up most of this book I really loved it a lot. The love interest doesn’t really feature but the set up is all done and that ending is a cliffhanger.

Best book I’ve listened to in a while. Gripping story line. Well paced not too fast, leaves time for the characters to develop and leaves you hanging on for what happens next without being slow. I can’t wait for the next instalments and equally I know I’m going to be sad when it ends!

This is the first audible I have listened to and it did not dissapoint. The story was brilliant, the characters were well thought out and you are drawn in immediately by them. The actual audible its self was well timed and animated well with differing voices! Have already downloaded the second book
