Just brilliant
Absolutely loved it , waited so long and didn’t disappoint. I tried to make it last longer and not listen so much but couldn’t help listen at every opportunity. Best listen for a long time . Just a shame they take so long in between books .

So good!
Kerry Barnes seemed to have come out of nowhere! Her stories are brilliant and she definitely rivals the legend that is Martina Cole. Good twists and turns in this book. Made even better by Annie aldington, who is hands down my favourite narrator. She does the most brilliant voices, you actually forget only one person is speaking! Very excited for her future books and I really hopes she sticks with Annie.

Excellent sequel
I listened to the first in this series and enjoyed it start to finish, sometimes a sequel falls short but in this case definitely not the case. Without spoiling it for listeners the twist at the end is unexpected but with hindsight and only following the explanation given in the story there were very subtle hints dropped earlier. As usual an excellent performance by AA.

So many twists and turns, fantastic.
Book number 5 since stumbling over Kerry Barnes couple of weeks ago. Some well placed red herrings and yes I figured out the governor but not the “machine” sorry no time to write more on to book 6. These books are far more addictive than any drug in the story. Be warned
