Gripping
Brilliant story had me hooked from start to finish! My first time listening to this author but I’ll definitely be listening to more of her books. Excellent narrator

Great listen
As always, Kerry Barnes produced a ripping good story with great characters, an intriguing mix of gangster and heart and a satisfying ending. The narrator is superb.

At the start unsure but WOW
I wouldn’t have gone for a gansta thug theme but so glad I did as the story was so well told. Great narrator and the author held my interest throughout.
About to jump straight into another from this author.

Couldn't stop listening
Brilliant book!! Fantastic narration, all characters easily distinguished & so interesting to listen to! Really could relate to how the character was feeling!! I read the reviews, which encouraged me to give the book a go & I wasn't disappointed! If you are easily offended by swearing & descriptions of violence then maybe this isn't the book for you but it's a great book, that is finished perfectly with no questions left unanswered - 1000% recommend!

Definitely needs sexual violence trigger warning!
I much prefer innuendo and suggestion to graphic descriptions of all violence but especially child and sexual abuse. I just do not want those words in my head.
Other than that, it was a decent story. Annie amazing, as always. Story very very far fetched but that gives me comfort in a weird way!
