“Deadly Debt” brings to a close the Twisted Cross Ranch series and let me tell you it's epic! It kept me fully engrossed from start to finish. It's a little over five hours long but I listened to it in a day, I just couldn't stop listening even though I had to change devices when the battery in my phone died! I had been on tenterhooks waiting for this book as the shocking cliffhanger at the end of Corruptor’s Claim left me on the edge of my seat wondering how would River fare. But let me tell you that her inner strength and belief in her guys really helped her at her lowest point.

But what really stands out for me is the character growth that all of her men undergo throughout this book/series and the way they bond, not only with River but how they come together as a cohesive unit.

Although I am sad that this amazing story has come to an end there is a bonus epilogue available which I urge you to listen to that hints at more to come. I do hope so as I love all of the characters so much! River shows just how strong she is in this book and Cross moved me and pulled on my heartstrings at times as he faced his own inner demons. Walker even at the darkest moments was able to lift my spirits and even make me laugh. Bishop managed to overcome his past and put his future on the line for River.

When it comes to the narration of this series I can't stress enough just how good it is, the depth that the narrators bring to the characters and the shear emotion they bring to their performances kept me entranced from beginning to end, and when it comes to those spicy times let me tell you I was definitely having to take a long cool drink to cool down!

Stella Hunter was just perfect not only as River and G.G. but as all the other female characters she played. Each of the voices of her multiple characters was different and unmistakable and the feelings portrayed are so well done.

J.F. Harding's performance as Bishop brought a vulnerability to him which surprised me, whilst also letting us know just how strong he really is. He also brings to life Brett Ransom, Mcreedy and Casey.

Jason Clarke's interpretation of Cross, the grumpy older brother, River's first love and her husband is excellent, as is his performance of Bear and Dominic Vulcov.

Aaron Shedlock's sexy performance as Walker is both amusing and moving and his performance as Senior is equally as good. Walker and River were best friends, but he knew it was his brother she loved so he stood aside - now he has her and he's not letting go. All he's felt/feeling can be heard in this performance.

This is a series that from start to finish held my attention and kept me riveted, when Meg Anne and K. Loraine write something together, I just know I’m going to have to add it to my library and that I'm going to love it. So if you are looking for a well-written action-packed series peopled by interesting and unique characters that's full of intrigue, suspense, heat, palpable chemistry and spice, then the Twisted Cross Ranch series is one you need to download, I assure you, you won’t be disappointed!

Having listened to the Bonus Epilogue I really hope to return to this world!

Deadly Debt by K. Loraine and Meg Anne is a dark cowboy mafia why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, Aaron Shedlock, and J.F. Harding. This is the third and final book in the Twisted Cross Ranch series.

I absolutely love Kim and Meg's books and when you make them into an audiobook with this cast, you can't help but become obsessed with them. They did a great job wrapping up the series. I loved the relationship that bloomed between River, Walker, Daniel, and Bishop. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I do have to note that I loved the reference to The Mate Game series. Especially with the audiobook and referencing the narrator who played those characters when it was recorded.

Stella, Jason, Aaron, and J.F. did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this series if you're looking for a dark romance, cowboy romance, mafia romance, or why choose romance.

Talk about going out with a bang!!! This was a very satisfying ending for River and her cowboy crew. Book 3 in the Twisted Cross Ranch trilogy was fast paced, full of intense emotions and suspense which I feel is well served by the multicast/duet style narration. I felt like all my questions were answered by the end of this, and even though I would have liked a little more (how could you not want more of Bishop, Cross and Walker), I feel the story was wrapped up really well. Fabulous narration by a team of actors who prove time and time again how talented they are by giving performances that leave us on the edge of our seats the whole time.

4/5 story, 5/5 narration, 4.5/5 experience

Sigh, I loved this series because of the amazing voices that brought River, Cross, Walker and Sterling to life. As well as the cameo from Asher! Oh my ears went to heaven with this reverse harem mafia cowboy series.

So much happens in this series and this finale pulled in characters from previous series which had my heart fluttering. Making me rapt with anticipation that River’s guys saved her and brought her all the sensual love and happiness for her HEA.

Seriously sexy series with action that left me on the edge of my seat many times. Kim and Meg have done it again, and created an amazing world to go to and leaving me wanting to be in that cowboy sandwich.

This wasn’t just the ending we wanted it was ending we needed. This conclusion was full of surprises, lies, angst, sorrow, regret, and an epic showdown. The chemistry between River, Cross, Walker & Sterling is beautiful. The story played out perfectly.

This was the perfect conclusion, but I didn't want it to end 😭😭😭

This started right in the action, and it didn't slow down!!

The banter between all the characters just made me smile and so happy it was just soooo good!!!

Also, all the mention of characters from the previous series made me so excited and happy

everyone in this audio was so perfectly cast. Stella teamed with each of the guys is always a favourite to listen to.

Guest Narrator Teddy, was the icing on the cake. what gets better than this star team of narrators ( all my favourites)? Amazing how talented they all are. The story is brought to life and so immersive.

River is kidnapped and her three men need to find her before its it's too late. The men bond and start working together as a team. The story is fast paced. The chemistry is sizzling hot. 🔥
Can the guys save River in time and make her truly theirs? You'll have to listen to find out. You won't be disappointed.

Finally, we get to see how this twisted dark cowboy why choose romance plays out. Hold onto your stetsons, darlin’, she’s a ride!

We pick up where we left off and Cross, Walker, and Stirling are desperately trying to find River. This trilogy has some hefty triggering content so check those warnings if you are unsure. If you like all the dark and dirty then crack into it.

We get to understand more about the inner workings of Cross. He’s been so guarded up until now, but we get inside his head a little more in this one and I loved understanding why he is how he is. Walker is the light relief in this trio, with his laid-back attitude and one-liners you can’t help but fall in love with him. Stoic Stirling is torn between duty and his heart and ultimately his heart wins.

This book is full of action and suspense and delicious buildup. I don’t know how these ladies managed to write three dominant alphas who share River so well, but they totally pulled it off and it feels authentic for their characters.

This full-cast audio is a delight to the ears. Stella takes on the massive feat of voicing all the female characters. She is amazing as River, giving us urgency and passion in spades. Jason is the growly Cross, Aaron the chilled laid-back Walker, and J.F. the dependable Stirling. These guys also voice the side characters and it was really easy to know who was talking because they all used distinct voices for each one.

If you are looking for an addictive series with dark themes and compelling characters start the TWISTED CROSS RANCH trilogy today. You won’t be sorry you did.

Wow, what an amazing and action packed conclusion to K. Loraine and Meg Anne’s “Twisted Cross Ranch” series. River, Cross, Walker and Bishop’s story picks up immediately where the second book, “Corruptor’s Claim” ended, which was a complete mind-blow of an ending. If you have not started the series yet, what are you waiting for? River is in trouble, heck they are all in trouble, but it is her men that need to pull it together and come to her rescue. To keep this spoiler free, I will only say, hold on tight because this story takes you on a wild ride, the suspense will bring you to the edge of your seat and the heat will have you fanning yourself. The writing, plotting and world building has been fantastic from the start and throughout and the storylines wrap up nicely as we get answers and closure for all. Though I would not mind revisiting these characters again and the amazing world the authors created. There is never a dull moment in this book, the story has plenty of drama, action, twists and turns, angst, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance times three. K. Loraine and Meg Anne, thank you for another fantastic story and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 As for the narration, another outstanding multi-cast performance delivered by the mega talented Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding, Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock, along with Teddy Hamilton in a brief appearance. You could not have asked for a better cast to bring these characters to life. They work well together, their voices and performances compliment each other’s and they know exactly who their characters are and portray them perfectly. They continue to set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters' emotions and have you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers enhance an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.
