Wow....just, do yourselves a favour, stop scrolling and click buy now on this one. This latest story from the Queen of Romance, Lauren Blakely was MADE for audio. This is one of the hottest, steamiest MFM you are likely to hear on this site and it is all due to the triple threat of Rob Hatchet, JF Harding and audio queen herself, Samantha Brentmoor.

This is a wonderfully cute wish fulfilment story when are adorable heroine Trina finds out her hockey obsessed boyfriend has been cheating on her and gets her own back by stealing the tickets to a VIP meet of his favourite two players. Just so happens the charming team captain Chase and the grumpy brooding defender Ryker take a shining to our girl and well.....revenge has never been so decadent. One wild night and the three of them are never the same again.

While it is the height of aural delight (thanks to duet narration) listening to this and the full on steamy scenes, this book also has a lot of heart to it. Chase and Ryker's friendship is a crucial thread to the story and is just as vital as the burgeoning relationship they have with Trina. As all three navigate slowly what is between them, there is a delicate examination of what it means to be in a throuple and how that works in public, particularly for celebrities. There is some heartache and challenges along the way and the message of the need for open communication amongst the three was one I really liked.

Trina is a wonderfully warm and relatable book nerd who hasn't really figured out what she wants from life but gets to live out quite a few of fantasies with her guys which will have you living vicariously through her. But Samantha Brentmoor is exceptional in this role in bringing out the sweetness and caring nature of Trina that you just can't imagine anyone else playing her. There is a reason why she is one of my favourite narrators - her acting range is uncanny. She will turn you on with her sultry voice, sound like your best friend another minute and then have you crying your eyes out with her vulnerability the next. I love listening to her.

Rob Hatchet plays our "golden retriever" charming and affable Chase, the fixer always taking the world on his shoulders but just so adorable at the same time. Rob Hatchet's smooth rumbling voice reminds me of old Hollywood idols in that it will have you swooning within seconds. He is perfectly cast in this role and will have hundreds of new fans falling in love with him.

JF Harding is in great danger of being typecast in the grumpy brooding role but only because he is so damn good at them. Ryker is no exception and he is perfect as the reserved and slightly broken closet nerd who is an innate protector and deliciously filthy in the bedroom. JF Harding continues to be one of my absolute favourite narrators as he brings magic to everything he does and it is clear Lauren Blakely was playing to his strengths in this one.

Overall, this is a wonderful escapist listen, prepare for some of the hottest scenes of your life (headphones recommended) and prepare to be seduced by the newest aural dream team.
