Summary

An all new stand-alone romance in USA Today best-selling author Kim Loraine's Sunrise Cowboys series.

I spent my life running from my past, hiding behind a guitar, a microphone, and a fake last name. But after my father's death, the truth came out, I'm a Wilde, and now I'm in the spotlight more than ever. My record label has big plans for Killian Wilde, the country music sensation, and unfortunately those include a co-written album with British bad-boy rocker Jameson Lorde. The one man I can't stand. Even if he is the sexiest man I've ever seen.

One month spent at Wilde Horse Ranch, forced to work together every waking moment, just might bring one—or both—of us to our knees.

London Days & Montana Nights!!!

Its finally here!!!! And it's everything we ever wanted.

I adore the Sunrise Cowboys Universe which Kim Loraine has created with this series of books so I was thrilled to find out there was one more, and that it would be our broken music star Killian Wilde's story. Nobody writes such heartfelt characters that you instantly connect with like Kim Loraine and Killian is no exception. After his band implodes and the press and music industry start clamouring for him, Killian runs back to his safe place...his family in Sunrise, Montana. I don't blame him its a truly magical place but while he is safe and surrounded by his family he is still lost and broken and unable to write any music.

Enter the BEST scary manager ever, Jacqui, and her plan to pull Killian out of his funk. Forced to work with the British Rockstar Legend, Jameson Lorde who is also struggling to stay relevant in the ever changing industry, how will Killian react to his teenage idol being in his house, constantly pressuring him to come out of his shell and create again? Particularly when he is distractingly sexy with that killer Brit accent . It is a delicious forced proximity, different worlds colliding MM romance with so many emotions that you will just be living this story with them.

The dynamic between Killian and Jameson is so expertly crafted you can't help but be swept up in their evolving love story. Jameson is relentless in his pursuit to make Killian re-find himself and his extraordinary talent and finds himself falling for the broken cowboy and its so heart-achingly sweet to see. But equally Killian rescues Jameson, the damaged soul with no family and always alone and becomes his home. The story is perfection, the chemistry electric but it is the heart in this book that makes it truly wonderful. Killian and Jameson are the dictionary definition of soulmates and their story really will make you believe in love.

This transatlantic blending is perfectly personified in the performances of J.F Harding as Killian and James Joseph as Jameson. I actually had tears in my eyes listening to them as it is truly magical what they create together. I knew from the first time listening to them both in Obsession by K Loraine and Meg Anne that they belonged together. They needed to work on an MM story together because there is some kind of intrinsic chemistry they have which amplifies the beauty of their styles.

J.F Harding has taken over my life, and audible library, over the space of a year with his dangerous ability to portray vulnerability in his characters that makes you just want to wrap him up and protect him. Its a siren quality he has in his performances but he is able to bring out the playfulness and rugged charm as well making him my undisputed favourite American male narrator. Pairing him with the smoky, dulcet, confident London tones of James Joseph is a stroke of genius. James Joseph has such a magnetic quality to his voice which is bewitching. Killian describes it accurately as velvety.

But it is both of them together which will have you re-listening over and over again. They are both excellent at comedic timing and banter and really embody their characters so much that it is jaw-dropping to listen to. But it is the emotional scenes, the tender passion and the heartwrenching agony that really sets them apart from the rest of the field. They are addictive and in my opinion two of the best actors, if not in romancelandia, than the world right now. That is not an overstatement. Like I said, I cannot do them justice but you need these two in your lives and if there are any authors or producers reading this, you seriously need to invest in getting these two together for your stories. #Jeddywho? They are the next big thing.

London Days and Montana Nights will be forever etched onto my soul and it perfectly encapsulates the power of J.F Harding and James Joseph as well as the lovers they portray. Thank you Kim for gifting this to us....finally.

Drive Me Wild will do just that, it will push you over the edge of pure ecstasy and rip you back with painful angst and longing before putting you back together with the sweetest and most beautiful of HEAs. It is the love story we all deserve. Bravo Kim Loraine, welcome to the roster of my forever authors.

This steamy cowboy/rockstar mm romance is just everything. So many swoony moments, so much passion and just the right amount of angst with a sprinkle of heart break for good measure.

The genius that is Kim Loraine brought in two of the best to narrate Jameson and Killian and they could not have done a better job, their chemistry is everything!

Now I can’t be the only one who really wants a copy of London Days, Montana Nights now can I? I need to hear this album.

More Wilde Greatness❤️‍🔥Fabulous Story & Listen🎧

Kim Loraine pens another amazing novel, a sizzling hot MM romance that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings. It is great to be back at Wild Horse Ranch and to get another Wilde brother story, the illegitimate son, Killian Wilde. Killian, a country music star until his life spun out of control when the press revealed his true identity. Now he is living and working on the ranch instead of making music. He figured his record label was going to drop him, but they had other plans to breathe new life into his music career instead. They are pairing him up with another musician, Jameson Lorde, a British rock star who could also use a boost in his career. Killian is not the only one with issues, Jameson has a few of his own. Can these two really work together? The chemistry between them was certainly there, despite coming from two different worlds. These two were great together and for each other. I loved how everything played out, the writing, plotting, world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The story has a perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Kim Loraine, thank you for another fabulous story and Wilde ride!

🎧📚🎧 And for the superb narration, Kim Loraine chose the best cast to bring her characters and story to life. J.F Harding and James Joseph were excellent as the two lead characters, Killian Wilde and Jameson Lorde, portraying their roles perfectly as the county cowboy and the British rockstar. Kim Loraine jumps in to cover the roles for the various female chapters, and she, too, performed each role perfectly. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions’ and projected them into their performance, having you feel them all. These entertaining storytellers make this already fabulous story even more enjoyable. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

Interesting characters, and great narration

The ingredients were good, but I wasn’t totally convinced by the result. I still enjoyed it a lot, because the characters were interesting, and the narration was great.

My main problem was that everyone kept overreacting, in my opinion, and a lot of drama could have been easily avoided. The reaction of Killian’s bandmate: too much. Killian’s depression after it: too much. Jameson’s avoidance because he’s attracted to Killian: too much. I mean, a little perspective and some chill, and they could all have had a perfect life. But in the name of angst, we get all of that, and that plus Jameson’s past guarantee that the main men are broken and not ready to dive into a relationship. Fine by me.

Killian and Jameson couldn’t have been more different. One writes country music, the other is a rockstar. One comes from a big family, the other has been alone all his life. One is American, the other is British. And Jameson is older than Killian. The idea that working together could spark their creativity isn’t too farfetched. What they couldn’t predict: their attraction to each other. Especially since Killian is convinced that Jameson is straight.

And unrequited love is Killian’s main trauma. Let’s not even talk about his parents. His little problem with his bandmate is the main reason he’s back in Sunrise. And now, he has feelings for the wrong man at the worst moment in his career. I think that was the best thing in this book: by working together, and connecting in some way, Killian and Jameson create magic; but feelings can get in the way of the best chance they both have at making great music. What’s more important, professional or personal life? For a musician, it’s a tough question, they’re kind of connected. I enjoyed this interesting conflict.

I also enjoyed Jameson finding his place somewhere. The Wilde extended family welcomes him, helps him, supports him–unless he hurts Killian, of course. His story is quite sad, so it was nice to see him get his happily ever after.

And seeing again the whole family was fun. Though it could be a bit confusing, as it’s supposed to be a standalone, yet a lot of informations are just hinted at, like you’re part of a secret club. If you haven’t read any other book of this series, you may feel a bit left out, but it won’t keep you from enjoying the story.

The narration was excellent, like the characters had been written just for those narrators. It isn’t just because of the accents, which are perfect of course. Killian’s narrator is great at expressing his vulnerabilities, and Jameson’s does a good job too. They bring the book to another level.

Love the cowboys!

Never does Kim Loraine ever disappoint. Every book of hers is one that I will remember and this one is no exception. Meet Killian Wilde. Struggling after the death of his father, his country music stardom is at risk. In comes his agent, pairing him with Jameson Lord, rockstar who is also in a slump. But how can these two work together and write a hit song? Their styles completely different, their goals as well, and now the attraction between them is smoldering. Where does it all lead? Well give this a listen! Not only is this a fabulous romance, but the chance to hang with the Wild Horse Ranch crew is a huge plus! I loved the push pull, the chemistry and the passion these two pour into their music and lives. Another fantastic listen!

And oh my the narration! James Joseph as Jameson and JF Harding as Killian! So good, these two work together in duet narration bringing life's frustrations and passion alive. Throw in Stella Hunter as the Wilde women and it's a hit. I loved their performance together and think this should be a one click for everyone who loves a cowboy!

Duet narration is jarring

I confess that I picked this up solely because of who the narrators are, and they're fantastic. The story is nothing new - troubled country music star Killian is forced to team up to write a song with British rock star Jameson Lord in an attempt to resurrect both their careers. Proximity engenders attraction, engenders romance...

It was a quick listen with duet narration, which I found very jarring here - I'm listening to a man reading narrative passages when suddenly a female narrator appears to read a female character's dialogue, and it took me out of the story every time. Both JF Harding and James Joseph are more than capable of delivering believable female characterisations, so while Stella Hunter is an excellent narrator, her presence really wasn't necessary.

Killian & Jameson

Oh how I wish I’d found the Sunrise Cowboys before. Drive me Wild was a great great book but I was bit overwhelmed by all the other characters I clearly missed out on. All the brothers and sisters in law and their epic love stories.
But, J.F. Harding, James Joseph and Stella Hunter were my favourite part of this audiobook. Both JF and James added personality to their characters, making them truly unique. Stella brought a little something extra to the female voices making this a great duet audio.

MM Cowboy Rockstar Romance

Drive Me Wild by Kim Loraine is a MM cowboy rockstar romance that listened to on audio narrated by James Joseph, J.F. Harding, and Stella Hunter. This is the tenth book in the Sunrise Cowboys series and can be read as a standalone.

This is the first book of Kim's that I have read where it wasn't a cowrite and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see how it was all going to play out. I loved the chemistry between Killian and Jameson. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life. I will definitely be going back and reading the other books in this series.

James, J.F., and Stella did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a MM romance, cowboy romance, rockstar romance, forced proximity romance, or a contemporary romance.

Love me some cowboys

Kim does it again! Bringing back the Wilde family on the Wilde Ranch. But we get touched by the music of two struggling musicians and become enamoured by the love that grows between them.

I loved hearing snippets from the Wilde family as they try to get Killian to see his worth, as he hides away on the Montana Ranch his family owns. Until Jackie his agent finally comes a knocking! And she brings no other than Jameson Lorde , Killian’s idol from a young age! An idol who Killian’s dreams are made of. Jackie knows just how to make these two stars heal when she puts them together.

Jamie’s first impression of Killian was one of the best starts of any MM book ever! Kim knows how to shake things up stirring up the combination of Killian and Jameson, and the instant attraction between them with Kim’s writing creates humour, caring and compelling bad boys of both rock and country music brought together in one creative sexy way.

Then top it all off by bringing us a star studded audio experience with JF Harding as Killian Wilde and also the sexy Brit James Joseph as Jameson Lorde. Along with the incredible Stella Hunter as the Wilde women who aren’t afraid to speak their minds when they see their family needs it! Y’all need to run for this amazing audio performance and get to hear about the bad boys who finally find their happiness in each other.
