About this listen
Wrong Number, Right Woman is a lighthearted slow-burn lesbian romance that embraces likable characters without all the drama.
A single text message can change everything!
Flirting has never been Denny’s strong suit, but so what if she’s too shy to ask women out? She’s content with her simple life, working as a cashier and helping her sister raise her niece.
But then she gets a wrong-number text message from a stranger named Eliza, asking her of all people for dating advice!
Eliza is Denny’s total opposite: witty, outgoing - and straight. Despite their differences, the accidental text sparks an unlikely friendship. Soon, Eliza - self-proclaimed queen of disastrous first dates - would rather banter back and forth with Denny than to keep trying her luck at online dating.
When they meet in person, there’s an instant connection. But what Eliza is feeling can’t be attraction, right? It doesn’t mean a thing that she’s starting to wish the guys she dates would be more like Denny. Or does it?
Can the wrong number lead to the right woman after all?

The story is about a woman called Eliza who thinks she is straight and her best friend sets her a online dating account to find the perfect guy, as she is too picky and she doesn’t have a spark with any of her guy dates that’s she’s been on so far.
Eliza sends a text to her best friend Heather asking on outfit choices for the dates but it is not Heather that receives them it’s another woman called Denny that has similar number to Heather.
Denny is a very shy person and can’t seem to get the confidence to ask a woman on a date, she lives with her younger sister and her niece. Denny and Eliza keep chatting a lot via text and then phone calls and eventually meet up.
Eliza is now questioning her sexuality as soon as she meets Denny in person their is so much chemistry and sparks.
It’s a very romantic slow burn love story, with lots of funny parts and great characters and a lovely story.
I thought the book was so well written and I loved the narration as always with this narrator.
The story is from Denny and Eliza point of view.
if Jae is reading this can you please do a book two of this book, carrying on the story of Eliza and Denny. It could have them maybe moving in together, maybe a wedding, and maybe them starting a family. And it could have side characters story’s. I would love to find out who Heather ends up with maybe Eliza’s older sister. And what about Denny’s niece who is questioning her sexuality and has a crush on Eliza’s niece Polly.
