I did guess the ending, but enjoyed the reveal none the less. The author set the scene well, and walked us through the story in a tempo that kept my interest, revealing just enough. If i were to say anything negative, it woud be that, in trying to represent a male voice, the narrator made most of them sound a little bit gloomy and earnest (but don't let that put you off).

This was a great book, I listened to it in one sitting pretty much while painting a room, it’s the first I’ve listened to from this author so I will definitely be listening to more.
