Worth a read
Firstly got into Dianne Saxon with Jenna Morgan series but had this come up in my recommended and I was pleasantly surprised. Really like her style of writing and thoroughly enjoyed the plot twists

Didn’t make it to the end!
I have to give this one a “D” I’m afraid. Dreary, depressing and lacking in depth. Gave up around 2/3 of the way through when it didn’t improve!

Oh goodness me absolutely my favourite by Mrs Saxon so far. Absolutely had me hooked from start to finish. Charlotte Worthing did a wonderful job on the narration, all in all 5 shiny stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Premise was good, feel like I missed something.
While the characters were interesting and well written, at times it was easy to miss which character’s POV we were in. Perhaps this was the point as the final chapter seemed to be some kind of “grand reveal” of the culprit, however I felt I had been shown who they were within the beginning of the book and each further incident clarified that it was them again. I seemed to spend the book waiting for a twist in the tale that never happened, which is why I feel perhaps I missed something. I have seen a couple of other reviews saying similar things, but that it’s not indicative of this author’s usual work. I have not read any of their other books, so I will not let this put me off trying another of theirs.

Good story
Not the best or worst I have come across in the genre. Covers some very dark subjects. If you enjoy the genre in general, this audiobook is worth a listen.
