I initially struggled to get into the story, but after the first few chapters I was completely hooked! The performance is excellent, the story and characters are believable and compelling. I can't wait to dig into the next book!

I have the novel too. But the narration is so dramatic and gripping! There are so many twists and turns I listened every day at some point. The emotion of each character is so strong you'll find yourself exclaiming aloud. I wish book 2 wasn't so far away!
