I cannot begin to describe how intense this book really is. It got me going from the very first chapter. You know when a book is REAL when it gets you all emotional, gets you fidgeting in your seat, talking to the characters, crying and laughing.

The narrator is one of the best I have heard. Such a clear voice getting you in the storyline with just the right fluctuation of her voice. I will be looking to listen to more books with this narrator. Really loved her.

The books itself is a jewel. Very sentimental, it describes so well the feeling of the main character and gets you to feel for her and all the drama that is going with her. I will for sure buy ALL the books from the series because now I am seriously hooked.

Thank you Katy Evans for wrenching your soul out in this book.

I already have! This is a great book. From the outset I was invested in the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

My heart beat throughout because Katy Evans managed to capture the longing and anticipation between the two main characters .

What about Charlotte Penfield’s performance did you like?

I loved the excitement that she managed to create around the ring. Her voices were good throughout.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

He is the bomb.

Based on the cover I would not have touched the book but it is very good and I would recommend.

What did you like most about Real?

OMG it brought this book and finish it all in the same day, it was so gripping, I was hooked from the first chapter. I have never felt more emotionally involved with character before!!! RIPTIDE!!!!!!!

What other book might you compare Real to, and why?

No other book i can think of compares to the emotional rollcoaster will take while listening to Real!!!

What about Charlotte Penfield’s performance did you like?

Excellent performance from Charlotte. The depth of emotion that she reads with you can't help but feel for the characters. She id fast become more new favorite narrator.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

An extreme emotional reaction yes!!! I could not help but cry and the turmoil that that characters go through. AT time you just want to yell out loud at them.

Katy Evans is an amazing outher and i will be downloading every novel in the series without a doubt.

Enjoyed this book a lot, and listened to it a couple of times over the last few years which is rare for me. I was going to cap it at 4 stars because the audio quality isn’t great (done well for independent, but I could hear background noise which was distracting) and the plot was a little eye-roll worthy at times, but the fact that the story has stuck with me and the relationship build up and sex are so incredibly sexy, I had to mark it up. It is so much better than other books in the genre, and better than many of Katy Evan’s later books. There’s something special in this one.
