I was sad when it ended. This was a solid five out of five. Recommend. The narrator was exceptional too.

This book states you off with a young witch who has been mistreated and neglected by the ones who should be supporting her, as she is asked to leave the only home she has ever known. We start to realise revenge is very much what this story is about, as she leaves a curse on the ground as she is taken to the border of the city. With lots of laughter as the coven she picks up on the way are all witches with a price on their heads, as they search for safety.. Read brilliantly as always by Cat Doucette.

Overall enjoyable ant the story could hold its own. Some of the sex scenes seem to be just there to titillate and didn’t add to character development so I zoned out in places

Loved it! Can't wait for the next installments. Love the characters, the outlandish story, the dialogue, the action, the comedy and the mystery, all in enough amounts to keep you hooked and wanting more. I was shocked and dismayed when the story ended! It was simply too soon!
