This book has taught me how to improve my outlook on life, and not take things too seriously. As someone who is constantly overthinking and worrying, I found that I’ve learned a lot from this audiobook. I appreciate that the author used lots of real life examples in order to get their point across. I would strongly recommend this book to those who are having a hard time finding their happiness.

The title of this book really caught my attention because my approach to life is to look for the funny side of everything and choose to laugh instead of getting irritated by things that don’t really matter. Life is wonderful!

Tom Flora shares chapter of chapter of stories about the good life he has been blessed to live so far. Some of his hilarious accounts will have you laughing out loud, as they are more than just “a little funny.”

But this is not primarily a book of comedy, but a book of friendly wisdom and life lessons, shared in a positive, encouraging way. It includes everything from relationships, to stress, to finances, to business and common sense.

The author shares his experiences and how he has learned and grown from them. He gives plenty of helpful advice that can be applied at any stage of life, but manages to do so not in a preachy or lecturing tone, but as if someone who knows and cares about you is coming alongside to help you succeed at life and enjoy each moment of the journey. Listening to the stories and advice motivated me to improve and learn as a person, to grow in faith and positivity, and to share my stories in order to help and encourage those around me.

I love that the author narrated his own book. He has a great voice, and a humorous style regarding events in his life. The snow skiing experience was hilarious. And his various learning experiences with his motorcycles. He expressed his vulnerability in being a neophyte in sports that usually require a lot of lessons. Also, his experiences with his many businesses helped him grow in confidence and learning how to be less serious in his life.

I really enjoyed the upbeat nature of this audiobook and found myself listening every chance I got. Being content is something I have had to nurture in my own life and this book gave good insight and helped me along in that way. I will definitely recommend!

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. There was a slight background noise on the audio but the information given was priceless. Especially like the quotes given before each chapter and also was a great reminder not to take oneself so seriously as we go through life. Tom makes this book quite relatable as he gives us a sneak peak into his life with real life events.

This is such a wonderful compilation of stories and experiences that help put life into perspective! I truly enjoyed the stories the author shared with the audience as they are very relatable. Even if you haven't been in the exact situations as the author, he breaks things down so that anyone can put themselves in his shoes and come out stronger than before. I appreciate that it's not someone telling you how to live your life, but rather wanting to help readers understand and appreciate the little things in life as that is what can bring you the most happiness! I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone! Was a great listen and you won't regret it!
