Shout out to the impact of basketball
I am a NBA fan, unwittingly admire and witness these athletes do things that i can never do. But yet still inspire me. So i appreciate its wide ranging impact through these stories. Each story offers a unique perspective, highlighting the passion, challenges, and triumphs associated with the sport. Adler paints a vivid picture of how basketball influences lives both on and off the court. Would i prefer playing or watching basketball? yes. But this is a great companion to muse through its influence.

Such a Great Book for Fans
I absolutely loved this audiobook. As an on-again, off-again fan, depending on how badly my team is doing, I loved this book. It is a great way to be reminded of the importance of all of the things that come along with competing and being on a team. I think anyone who likes basketball or sports in general will find value in this book.

Love love love!
I grew up not only in a basketball family, but in a basketball town. I have been away from the sport for some time, and this book brought back so many great memories for me from the 80s and 90s following the sport with my Dad. I love how the book gets beyond the games and covers the human aspect of the stories and the people around the sport. Everybody loves a comeback, right? Those are my favorite stories from this book. The narration is smooth and easy to listen to in this book as well. Highly recommend!

Bringing Back the Magic
This audiobook of short stories about basketball really brought back memories for me! I couldn’t help but think of the time I saw Magic Johnson play in Orlando with my dad and sister while we were on vacation. Seeing him in action was just incredible; his skill and energy on the court were unforgettable.
