Honest and surprisingly helpful

I listened to this alone during a weekend walk because I’ve been trying to understand my own behavior better. The narrator had a serious but steady tone that matched the subject well. It doesn’t shame you but it also doesn’t sugarcoat anything. I appreciated how it gave small, clear steps to reflect and change instead of just labeling everything. Some parts were hard to hear but in a good way. It made me think about how I treat people and what I want to improve. It’s worth a listen if you’re ready to face yourself.

Combating the habits formed.

I found this audiobook and listened to it end to end and found it enlightening. The book is well written, and the narration is easy to follow. I gave it to my daughter, and at first she resisted, but once she gave it a chance, she realized it's coming from love. She is working on the steps and seems to be improving on her habits. Fingers crossed she will continue. I have experienced a narcissist firsthand, and it was not good. I started to see the same traits in my daughter and wanted to see if we could change that before she leaves for college.
