Summary

They say the dead walk among us … could that be true? Well, there are a few who do … apparently. Humor, romance, and a time leap from the 1980s.

Terry and Deana, the most unlikely guardian angels, face their third and undeniably most challenging mission when their past returns to haunt them. If they are to atone, they must successfully help Virginia … a woman neither has met but, unbeknown to them, was intrinsically entwined in their lives.… the ghostly duo are in for a shock.

Virginia, a confident, happily married thirty-something professional, lands in a spot of bother. Following a series of unfortunate events, her life flips into chaos ... she loses everything.

When facing a perilous future, Virginia receives two offers of help. Viv, a reformed gang member from the odious estate where she’s now forced to live, and Terry, a peculiar stranger. Although this ‘Good Samaritan’ bears the same name and an uncanny resemblance to her mother’s close friend, it can’t be him because he’s dead.… or is he?

There will always be a price to pay for your wrongdoings. Vengeance and retribution—those who plan such acts do so with pleasure—but who are they? Terry and Deana will soon discover when an unexplained death has the potential to scupper their mission to save Virginia.

Dead Goode – humor, ghosts, romance, and opportunities for the dead to atone. Grab the third book in this hilarious time-leap series by Adrian Cousins.

Another Great Story

This was the longest book from Adrian Cousins that I’ve read. As always I loved the story which was neatly threaded together and the performances of Lee and Perdita were as always top notch

I often had a little giggle and felt well entertained throughout.

Character wise I always like to hear poor down trodden Terry. He is perfectly written and you always feel for him. Deanna however I felt had far too much to say for herself and I was saying to myself ‘do get on with it dear!’

The conclusion was satisfying and warming and it was only close to the end of the story that I guessed the 4th victim (won’t go into it as it spoils the story).

I look forward to the next story and hope that Terry can control Deanna a bit more.

Thank you once again for a most entertaining story.
