Summary

Under dirty black skies, the town of Dead Crow is deluged by days of rain, flooding the streets and cutting it off from the outside world. Chief Andy Curran already has his hands full, getting residents to safety and battling a greedy mayor. But now people are going missing in the endless rain.

Curran soon discovers that there are things living in the overspilling river that threatens to drown Dead Crow. Their eerie clicking sounds drift across the frightened town as they emerge from its toxic waters. The rain isn't stopping. The clicking is getting louder. And the screams are only just beginning.

Enjoyable Romp in Dead Crow

I have to say I really enjoyed this audiobook, moreso as it was from the Plus catalogue. Reminded me of Stephen King's work, small town, characters well described. I think the criticism by some of the narrator is unfair. Did a good job with voicing the characters and did not detract from the experience. Perhaps the only thing missing was a grander end. Felt a little rushed.

Fun creature feature story

Narration was great and story was fun and kept you on edge of seat. Characters were likeable and you got behind them.

Monsters are always fun.

Good Creature Feature. Fast paced enough to keep me interested. Reminds me of the kind of stories I read when a young teenager. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Bloody good

Having listened to too many books about monsters that are over sexed and have ridiculous non related side stories, I am so very pleased to have found these books. They're just right. Pretty scary, believable and fun

Water duck dogs!

Really good listen, a mix of town under pressure and a creature feature. Could easily have been a longer book, some strong characters that could have been developed more. In places reminded me of Under the Dome, but with savage animals killing people
