The Wolves of Crescent Kingdom are the Diablos pack and five more different, distinct, and damaged characters you’ll struggle to find. From the dominant Kingston, to the psychotic Ender to the submissive hacker Locke who prefers to attack with his keyboard, united in their desire to avenge their loved ones at the hands of the Red River pack and protect those weaker than themselves in this case Wren with her secrets and the ever present danger that seems to find her no matter how hard she tries to conceal herself. I can’t wait to find out just what else she’s hiding and just saying I loved that the characters are more mature especially Wren in this trilogy.
For the first time this author has opted to use multiple performers for one of her books including Vanessa Moyen, Connor Crais, Jason Clarke, Teddy Hamilton, JF Harding and my own personal kryptonite when it comes to narrators, Shane East. Vanessa was perfectly cast as Wren, imbuing every ounce her characters’ fears, loneliness, and weariness into her performance. Individually each of these narrators can bring a book to life, but together they took Crescent Kingdom to a whole new level.

Tessa’s writing is so immersive and I was utterly invested in Wren and the guys’ story. Wren is an absolute warrior and has fought tooth and nail for survival with no one at her back for years. I loved watching her bond with the guys and find the protection and affection that she and her wolf were missing.
The boys are absolutely delicious and they all brought a different dynamic to the pack. Like Wren, I couldn’t choose between protective fighter Kingston, adorable IT geek Locke, cheeky British charmer Puck, growly mercenary Brix and broody assassin Ender.
The guys are all equally broken and one of my favourite things was watching Wren help them heal and grow. Wren’s relationship with them all is at different stages and I can’t wait to watch their bond develop as the series progresses. The angst, pining, and chemistry gave me butterflies and the spice was SO good!
As Wren and the pack’s pasts catch up with them, the stakes rise with pulse pounding drama and danger around every turn. I positively flew through this book and didn’t want it to end. Be warned though … the cliffhanger ending is BRUTAL!
🎧 The audio for this one is NEXT LEVEL! It’s dual narration with a full cast of six narrators! What a treat. Vanessa Moyen is perfect as Wren and she expertly captures all the drama, emotion and romance as well as flawlessly moving from female to male voices to bring to life Wren’s mates. Literally all my fav male narrators voice Wren’s guys and I was in heaven with all that growly protectiveness!
Brimming with all the fated mates, hurt/comfort, who did this to you and touch her and die goodness, crescent Kingdom is your new fantasy addiction!
