About this listen
I always thought I’d start the apocalypse. Instead I’ve been asked to help end it.
How does one stop the end of the world, you might ask? You gotta knock up Lucifer’s vessel before he does.
I know, I know. I was surprised too. But let me tell you, if ever there was an incubus made for the job, it’s me.
With a name like Sin, you’d think this should have been the easiest task I’d ever been assigned. And you’d be correct. Except said vessel is a beautiful and dangerously powerful succubus in her own right. Oh, and she’s not interested.
Not in me or any of the other horsemen who were assigned to protect her. Yup, that’s right. The four horsemen of the apocalypse are back.
War
Pestilence
Famine
Death
She may not be our biggest fan, but one of us has to be her baby’s daddy. Which is why she’s been forced to live with us until we get the job done. We’ve never been very good at sharing. Or at saving things instead of destroying them, but when you know who calls in a favor, you don’t say no.
The Doomsday clock is ticking, so save the world it is.
Now if only we could get Merri to play ball. Because if we don’t find a way to get her pregnant before he does, then it’s not just the end of us. It’s the end of everything.
For fans of Supernatural and American Horror Story, USA Today bestselling authors Meg Anne and K. Loraine are thrilled to bring you the final installment in the Mate Games Universe.
Warning: The Mate Games: Apocalypse is a spicy paranormal series featuring morally gray heroes whose methods of protection aren’t always above board. Not that you can expect much honor from a celibate recluse, an incubus rockstar, the original shadow daddy, and a grumpy ex-Spartan. They are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, after all.

The story is epic and hilarious, especially when you know the characters from previous series’. WOW! Can't wait for more!
Bring it on! I have been anticipating this last leg of the Mate Games series and it's beginning does not disappoint! I cannot get over the intricacies Meg Anne and Kim Loraine have packed into this and it's fabulous! Folding previous characters in with new ones just brings this story all together as the answers slowly come to fruition. Merri is our main character in this one, a succubus who is being guarded by the four horsemen. And by guarded, I mean guarded in all ways! Full of danger, suspense and spice these two authors have me waiting with baited breath for the next book in the series.
And to bring it all to life is the amazing duet cast. Perfectly picked for each character, Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, James Joseph, J.F. Harding, Shane East, Teddy Hamilton, Christian Fox and Lauren Landa create the world which I am completely submersed in. I love their banter, the chemistry they all have and the fun they sound like they are having! It's fantastic!

Captivating!
Sin is the first book in The Mate Games: Apocalypse series, a why choose spicy paranormal series. This series is the final installment in the Mate Games Universe. Merri and the Four Horsemen (Grimsby/Grim (Death), Chaos (War), Malice (Pestilence) and Sinclair/Sin (Famine) are fantastic and enigmatic characters. The world building is fascinating. The story is steamy, passionate, and intense, full of danger, mystery, intrigue, humor, suspense, and twists and turns. As expected, this episode ended with a cliffhanger. The story is told by a full cast of voice actors. Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, James Joseph, J.F. Harding, Shane East, Teddy Hamilton and Christian Fox did an outstanding job bringing these characters, and this story to life. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series to know what happens next. If you like spicy paranormal romance, this series is for you!

Best audio production EVER!!! 👏🏼
I’m absolutely kicking myself over not having got into this series sooner! Literally 20 seconds into it and I was already smiling like a goofball.
The comedy intertwined in the story is so incredibly well done I don’t think I’ve ever had so much absolute fun listening to an audiobook, this was truly so unique and I finally understand why everyone is so obsessed with the mate games
I did stupidly start on this audiobook (and rightfully got told off for it by my friends) but I was having such a good time with it I couldn’t bring myself to stop, so my mission now is to absolutely inhale all 15 or so of the previous books 🤣
🎧 The performances by every single narrator was like a masterclass in voice work, I’ve honestly never been so gagged 🙌🏼 the scenes were Merri was doing her cam work had me laughing so hard at all the different accents for each of her patrons from the site
I absolutely cannot wait for the next audiobook, it’s immediately getting marked in the calendar. I can’t recommend this series enough consider me a stan 🫶🏻
3.5/5 🌶️ (it was a lot of build up, I’m expecting the next ones to be explosive 🥵)

Duet / Full Cast narration 🎧
These narrators always make me happy. Their voices. Their acting. The way they bring characters to life. So awesome. I feel like the story was bit repetitive in terms of them all having the same feelings for FMC. I suppose that's what Mate Games is, so it's a solid 4 ⭐ from me, and I obviously will listen to book 2 😏 writing is amazing as always KL and MA 👌🏼

Fantastic ensemble cast
This is the first book in the final Mate Games series. I think this might be my favourite series of the Mate Games since the first series. I absolutely loved Merri and her mates, who are the OG Horsemen themselves. The main characters' interaction is fantastic, and I love the humour. I read the print version before listening to the audible version, and the ensemble cast did a fantastic job, which really enhanced my enjoyment of the book. I absolutely cannot wait for Chaos, the next book in the series!

Great first installment of Apocalypse!
As usual, the authors and narrators brought their A game to this most recent project.
The scene setting for the struggle ahead of the new focal group has been great, with enough teasers and tastes of backstory and motives to make me very excited about what's to come.
These narrators always seem to have such great chemistry, and their characterisation of the new team is perfect.
I really wish this book was longer, but that's most likely me just being greedy and impatient 😅 neeeed to know what happens next!!

Sinfully Brilliant! Incredible Story & Narration🎧
Meg Anne’s & K. Loraine’s brilliant minds unite once again to create another amazing chapter in their “Mate Games” world, the beginning of the end and it has been an incredible journey along the way. “Sin” is an exciting start to this last leg of the journey, with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Grimsby, Chaos, Malice and Sinclair, aka, Death, War, Pestilence and Famine, and Lilith who calls in her favor, asks them to keep Merri safe and prevent Lucifer from getting his hands on her. The book starts off with Asher’s Operation PFFN Super Secret Video Correspondence along with Remi, giving a run-through recap, which I absolutely loved. Merri, a succubus, a celibate succubus, two words that do not go hand in hand, and poses a problem for the horsemen and what Lilith wanted. This is an amazing start to Merri’s relationship with the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and great getting to know them all. There is never a dull moment in this book and there are a lot of layers to the story, a story that is cleverly plotted with drama, witty dialogue that delivers humor to lighten things up, thrilling suspense, and steamy romance. Meg Anne and K. Lorraine, thanks for another amazing story and wild ride. I am looking forward to what happens in the next book, Chaos, and what is in store for these characters and the world.
🎧📚🎧 And how to make an incredible story even more enjoyable, have superbly talented voice artists bring the characters and story to life, from the pages to your ears. Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, James Joseph, J.F. Harding, Shane East, Teddy Hamilton, and newcomers to the “Mate Games” world, Christian Fox and Lauren Landa deliver an exceptional performance in duet. I loved how these artists owned their roles, humanized each character with their personality and their emotions, sounding believable in every role and just as I imagined they would sound. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen.
