Great story and well performed
I loved the book and decided to get the audio version as a recap before book 2 comes out. This was brilliant. The voices were really good and their delivery was comfortable and easy to listen to. It's hard to do multiple voices but both the male and female POVs were handled well.

I think I chose the wrong book.
I wanted a fantasy adventure book. I listened to the audio sample and thought it started good. however, this is more romance twilight meets 50 shades kinda.
I'm sure it's a good book for the right person just not what I'm after.
I'm not gonna give it a low rating because it being not what I was looking for is on me.

loved it, only issue I had was the audio kept cutting out or jumping/repeating. I deleted and redownloaded and issue still there. otherwise great audiobook

Fantastic
Loved the book, loved the audiobook. Joint place with Marie Reynard and Jennifer Cody for best series I’ve read so far this year (and it’s 10 months in to the year and the 2nd book has only just been published - that’s how good it is). The audiobook is just as good as the book. Not initially too fond of the American female accent (not the fault of the narrator, but of my sound settings), but was soon immersed in the book and didn’t notice the weird pitch after 10 mins. The writing is top notch, the narration is excellent. I can’t wait for the sequel to be out on audiobook. The ending was heartbreaking, but you know it won’t end there. So hard to review without giving away any of the plot and do justice to the audiobook, but this is one that is well worth reading/listening to. I highly recommend.

This was an amazing read! Full of drama and action and so much banter. Desiree and Corvin do a great job of bringing Micai and her men to life. Loved Thai
