a fun and cosy adventure. I found the narrator's enthusiasm really great, however, found their attempt at different accents threw me a little bit. other than that I found this book quite enjoyable

First things first the narrator does a 10/5 Oscar worthy performance.
As for the story, I loved the characters and the romance.
Overall 10/5 narration and 5/5 story, would spend a credit again, and I think everyone else should do the same.

What a storyline, absolutely fantastic start to this series, magic, dragons, assassins, what more can one ask for. I loved all the characters, the passion and commitment and not forgetting the beautiful romance. ❤
I can't wait for the next instalment, and I definitely recommend this audio book. In fact I recommend this writer, I have only just discovered her and I'm hooked on her storytelling. 💯

The main characters feel kind of bland and the narrator reads them so similarly that I most of the time don’t know who I am following.
It was ok, but I don’t think I will continue the series as it’s the same narrator all the way.

I absolutely love this book. It’s charming and the central relationship between the two main characters warms your heart. I love that the conflict arises from situations outwith their relationship. I’ve already bought the next instalment and preordered the next. Finally, I understand why people love romance novels. This one is for the women who love women, and anyone else who has a heart.

The relationship between the main characters is full of all the fears and euphoria of starting a life together, the thrill of breaking boundaries and the contentment that comes with a warm cup of tea. I love this book.

If I'm going to enjoy a story I really do need to care about the characters. This tale didn't dissapoint. Great story telling and great narration.

The story is exciting and I just want to have more. But I can't shake the listening experience. Even as a non native English speaker it's clear where the emphasis should have been different. The voice and accents are great and a nice way to separate the characters though.
