Beim Tauchen vor der Küste erscheint vor Yann, Zoom, Auru und Timeti plötzlich ein merkwürdiges Ungetüm. Als sie näher herankommen, verschwindet es genauso plötzlich wieder. Auru denkt, dass Yann sich einen Scherz erlaubt und einen Trick angewandt hat. Aber Yann und Timeti wollen hinter das Geheimnis kommen.

Onkel Patrick muss für ein paar Tage verreisen, und so zieht Auru mit seiner Familie in die Galeone, damit Yann und Marina nicht allein bleiben müssen. Sehr zum Missfallen von Yann. Dabei bemerkt sie bald, dass der Oktopus hellseherische Fähigkeiten hat. Er kann den Ausgang eines jeden Wettkampfs vorhersagen. Für sie ist das ein Spaß, aber Jack beginnt es für sich nutzen.
