My intention before I ever started planning the poems for this collection was for the experience of listening to this book to be healing. I wanted you to feel my own awakenings through these words and for them to speak equally of your own journey and reach you at every level of your being.

For sure change can be scary, remaining static more so! Us humans are creatures of habit and the thought of contemplating doing something absolutely outside of our usual experience is seldom the easy option. You don't have to. Simply being the best version of who we are is what matters, without having to go and conquer the highest mountains. Sometimes the smallest steps can feel to us like mountains to climb and yet when we take that step and then another towards our goals we are conquering our own mountain every single time! And how great is that?

What if it were possible for us to change the way we feel about ourselves? Could we then go on to create a completely different future? Yes! It is indeed possible to shape our own destiny and then our life can take an entirely different direction. Through changing our mindset of what is possible from our lives, our future can then be entirely in our own hands to create whatever reality we desire. It has been hugely entertaining for me taking the time to re-visit my archives finding poetic tales for inclusion. Taken from a period stretching back to 2012 right through up to the year I compiled this book in 2018, I do remember writing every single one of my poems and interestingly for me, my mindset at the time.
