I was just a data analyst. I paid my taxes on time. I used to feed a cat that wasn’t my own and bake cookies for the office. I was a good girl. How was my reward finding myself penniless, broken down and stuck on the side of the road with everything I owned piled in the back, and all because I was being chased by the Mob? But then again, I must have had some luck left or he wouldn’t have stopped.

Afterlife...just some gothic nightclub where gossip is fuelled by the presence of a rich and unearthly, handsome family or afterlife...the strange place where time seems to stand still and guests feel the presence of something more powerful held within the confines of the VIP. Keira is new to this small, cold town and is running from a past that seems to feast on her darkest memories. She finds living with her sister away from English soil to be just the ticket to the new life she is trying desperately to find.

I tried to hide from the truth and that didn’t work. I tried to run from him and that definitely didn’t work. What was next for me but to try and work off my punishment? One that ended with me sacrificing my own heart the second his Lost Siren finally walked into his life; the one I found for him. I took this as my cue to leave. My cue to run and never look back. That had been the plan and he made a promise to let me go. A promise he quickly broke.

It had to be said that I didn't much care for the Devil. Especially when he tried to use me to control the Beast. But this was his mistake. As such, I had been granted early release, and as for the Beast… he was not happy. So now Hell had a problem. A big one. One named Abaddon who was currently tearing Hell apart trying to find me. Which meant I now had a choice to make. Let the Beast destroy all the realms or find myself a date.

Amelia: Lego sets, Star Trek and junk food in my pajamas, these used to be how I would spend my safe and lazy days off. Now, what am I doing with my time? Being lost in time was hard enough. But being lost in time while being hunted for revenge was even worse, a revenge that was never mine to receive. So, as I tumbled through the ages, I learned an important lesson. Sometimes… Time doesn't heal all wounds, after all. No, it just made them deeper.

So, there were many things I could have done differently. I could have gone on a cruise and forgotten about stealing a killer box from a Vampire King. I could have shaved my head and become a Tibetan monk. I could have also lost my virginity to some nice Texas cowboy who wanted to introduce me to his mother. But instead, I went to Germany and ended up fighting Mercenaries. I also fell in love with a Vampire King who claimed me as his. And now I’m in the river and all because I decided not to just stay home and do my laundry. No, instead...I shot a pilot.

Keira soon finds herself becoming a pawn in a game she could never hope to win, and now the King on the board is a Vampire on a mission. With the only man to stop him miles away from the mountain prison in which she is kept, she must now choose which path to take in order to survive. With enemies at all sides closing in quickly, she must tread carefully, or she might find the only man to save her isn't the White Knight she loves but the Dark King she loathes.

Once again, the teens were not only faced with a ton of unanswered questions after what had happened down in that cell of death, but on top of all that, they had classes to pass! But this wasn’t the only thing that faced this misfit bunch of teenagers, because they had new powers to control and inner demons to face, a blood oath to figure out, a mechanical bad ass named Gruen out for blood...and oh yeah, a Hell’s Ring to fight. Which meant that their first year at the Afterlife school was going to be interesting all right. In fact, it might just end up being...Hell on Earth!

Well, it seemed as my days as a data analyst were long behind me, it seemed feeding random people’s cats and baking cookies for work colleagues was too. What wasn’t behind me, however, was getting snatched by the mob or finding myself tied to yet another chair. But this time the mob had made a big mistake, because this time they weren't the scariest ones out there. No, but I knew who was. The one who had claimed me. The one who wanted me back. The one who was now out for blood. A Siren’s Enforcer.

Escape. That's all I needed to do. For running was my only option left. But that was the problem when running from a HellBeast King. He liked the chase. So, as I continue to navigate myself around his cruel world, I find not only my life on the line but the Fate of all of those I hold dear.
