Story
Love is not a singular concept. In this collection, seven award-winning authors explore seven concepts of love: from philautia (self-love) to agape (love for humanity) and from storge (a natural affection for family) to mania (a frenzied, obsessive love).

Story
It is summer and the Canadian Rockies are on fire. Fleeing the fallout of a relationship gone wrong, Alan West returns to the small town in the valley where he grew up. There, his grandfather, Cecil, suffers a heart attack and gives him one last task: he must track down the father he's never known, so that Cecil can make his peace. And so Alan begins his search for the elusive Jack West, a man who skipped town decades earlier and of whom Cecil has always refused to speak.

Story
This book uses high school yearbooks to consider the following questions that anyone might ask at one or more points in their life. Will I be a success? Am I a success? Was I a success? In the process, it raises questions about the purposes of schooling and their relationship, if any, to "success" and "failure" in life. The intended audience consists of (primarily) the general reader who is interested in education and (secondarily) the student of schooling, who is often an aspiring, current or former teacher.
