Story
Dare to Care is a personal reflection of the love and care that is offered by carers for love, honor, and duty. It tells the life stories of the author and nine others in caring for a loved one at home and the profound affection they had for each other. This is one story about home caregiving that is very relevant and much needed in times of pandemic and non-pandemic. Many families and homes all over the world can relate to the author’s personal experience in caregiving. Dare to Care is a most beautiful, heartening, and touching story.

Story
By the late 1960s, what had been widely heralded as the best qualified, best-trained army in United States history was descending into crisis as the Vietnam War raged without end. Morale was tanking. AWOL rates were rising. And in August 1968, a group of Black soldiers seized control of the infamous Long Binh Jail, burned buildings, and beat a white inmate to death with a shovel. The days of "same mud, same blood" were over, and a new generation of Black GIs had decisively rejected the slights and institutional racism their forefathers had endured.

Story
Welcome to the True Crime BnB! I'm Beth, your host, and I started this podcast with my daughter Bailey, creating a format where one of us would tell a rough story about a case, and the other would end every episode with an inspiring story focused on strength and survival. We wanted to remember victims, and celebrate survivors. Now that I'm solo, some episodes are collaborations with podcaster friends who bring a case to share, and we continue the 'downer' and 'upper' format that Bailey and I created. Sometimes I release what I call Just One B episodes, where it's just me, telling true crime ...
