على عكس العادة التي تقتضي بتحويل الروايات إلى أعمال فنية بعد نجاحها، تمَّ مؤخرًا تحويل مسلسل "كلبش" إلى رواية تتحدَّث عن مجموعة من الوقائع التي عاشها المصريون قبل أربعة أعوام عن طريق بداية مشوّقة تتمثَّل باقتحام خلية إرهابية لإحدى الحارات الشعبية وقتل أهلها ! تبدأ الأحداث بعد ذلك بالتفرّع في دوائر صغيرة وأخرى كبيرة إلّا أنّها جميعها تصبَّ داخل المجتمع المصري وما يعانيه أفراده من ضغوطات.
