  • When and How to Pray
    Nov 6 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall begins this podcast by acknowledging that our nation may be becoming weak, misdirected and in a state of decline as a result of failing to rely on prayer. He explains how very short, pointed prayers can impress God, and that the prayers of Jesus in the Bible are simple straight to the point, and show unselfishness and concern for others. Dr. Hall uses his experience of having a son critically injured in an automobile wreck as a teaching tool for when and how to pray. Dr. Hall discusses the noetic effect of prayer. He points out that God is not a cosmic bellhop waiting to do the bidding of his creatures, that he reserves the power to answer or not answer prayer. Dr. Hall stresses we should come to God with an attitude of humbly submitting to his will. Can be heard on all podcast search engines and seen on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/cDSjwRcSvMg

  • Election Crunch-Morality
    Nov 2 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, focuses on the presidential election in the United States from a moral perspective. He begins by addressing the abortion issue pointing out that one candidate supports the states being able to determine what limitations they want on abortions while the Democratic candidate wants women to have no limitations on abortion. He goes on to discuss gender changing practices being perpetrated on young children and the sexualization of children that seems to be supported by the Democratic party. A focus is placed on the 200,000 children per year that are being trafficked into the United States across the southern border and points out that the Democratic candidate wants to make it possible for this to continue. • Why Does It Hurt So Much?
    Oct 26 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, discusses the pain, discomfort, and troubles that we all experience. He says that we all seem to be screaming, “why does it hurt so much?” Dr. Hall focuses on 2 Corinthians 1:3- 4, which tells us that God comforts us in all of our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we receive from God. We are warned not to fall into the trap of thinking that our heartbreak doesn’t register on God’s radar because so many others have gone through worse. God never sees our pain as minimal when compared to others. Dr. Hall warns that God gives purpose to our hard places and does not always remove our suffering. It is pointed out that the root of suffering and pain is drawing closer and nearer to Jesus. Dr. Hall quotes Christian apologist CS Lewis who wrote, “God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pain; it is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world." • Detox
    Oct 19 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, explores the modern miracle of medicine, liver transplantation. He describes how the organ, called the liver, provides critical substances to the human body and is also the organ that detoxifies harmful substances, even bacteria and viruses, into harmless products that are eliminated in our bile or urine. The organized church is seen as the liver organ for the body of believers. The functions of the organized church are described along with the things that can make the organized church, functioning as the liver organ of the body of believers, become toxic Dr. Hall discusses the disturbing trend of the number of believers in evangelical churches who do not believe basic Christian doctrines, meaning today’s evangelical church may need detoxification. The podcast concludes with the energizing promise of Christ, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18).Can be heard on all podcast search engines and seen on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/wYqxHxChYSY

  • Prayers That Work
    Oct 15 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses questions surrounding effective prayer, and whether God hears the prayers of those who have rejected Jesus as Lord and Savior. He points out that the Scripture says that God does not listen to the prayers of the wicked. God hears the prayers of the wicked and he knows exactly what they are praying because he is omniscient, all-knowing. But if unbelievers persist in wickedness God will not grant their requests. They pray in vain. Dr. Hall discusses how prayers that are acceptable to God are conditioned upon many things, including using the right words, living the right kind of life, and having the right kind of attitude. Having an attitude of humility, a forgiving spirit and the right motive are essential to prayers that work. He concludes the podcast by pointing out that God lives within believers as the Holy Spirit which means our prayers are God’s prayers, and that there is no gap between the prayer and the hearing of that prayer. • Empty Pews-Why?
    Oct 15 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses the decline in church membership and attendance that has been occurring since the 1970s. Today only three in 10 adults choose to attend church on a regular basis. And more than one-third of US young adults have no religious affiliation. He discusses how Generation Z, those under the age of 35, are a major part of the decline in church attendance. It is pointed out how mainline denominations have adapted heavily to modern secular thought, thus abandoning what the church could biblically speak to. Many Protestant churches have also embraced much of the skepticism about the reliability of the Bible and accounts of Christ’s life and death. Only 45% of evangelical Christians clearly affirm that a personal belief in, or relationship with, Christ is essential for eternal life. Dr. Hall responds to the question, “Is Jesus really the only way to God?” The challenge of choosing a church to attend is part of this podcast. Can also be seen on YouTube at:

  • Dancing with the Devil
    Sep 27 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, discusses the meaning of the phrase “Dancing with the Devil.” He defines the phrase as undertaking risky behavior and hanging out with risky people. He points out how the world encourages risky behavior and rejects God, the Bible, and Christianity. The devil is Satan and Dr. Hall uses several biblical examples to demonstrate how God’s children have been dancing with the devil since the beginning of time. Every time we sin, we are dancing with the devil and embracing evil. He points out how the whole world is dancing with the devil and that the devil plans to feed us with lies, deception, and discouragement. Several examples show how we are dancing with the devil in modern-day life. He uses Scripture that teaches us that God will not let us be tested beyond our abilities and will provide a way out if we have him in our hearts.
