Summary

Brexley has endured starvation and survived torture.

She has even survived Warwick Farkas, the brutal legend who still haunts her like a ghost, spilling into her thoughts and life. His betrayal made her a prisoner of Killian, the gorgeous Fae Lord of Budapest. There, her life takes another unforeseen twist, something that will change the fragile alliance between the humans and the fae. Brexley finds herself in the middle.

As weeks go by, Brexley discovers that Killian isn’t the malicious leader she was told about. As they spend more time together, their relationship begins to shift. However, when an old acquaintance turns up, she is given the chance to escape the sexy fae leader, and her entire world explodes. She is thrown into a nefarious web of politics, desire, betrayal, lies, and truths that will shatter her foundation and who she is, what she believes, and who she can trust. No longer is there a clear line between good and bad.

Hunted by both sides, Brexley is on the run and must untangle all the lies, deceit, and deceptions, before she becomes another victim in the wild lands.

Entertaining but Bleak!

Audiobook 🎧
Savage Lands, Book 1
By:  Stacey Marie Brown
Narrated by: Eva Kaminsky
Length: 10 hrs and 56 mins

I thoroughly enjoyed this storyline. I'm not sure how I really feel about the female main character.🤔 She's strong of mind and body but also kind of bratty, which I'm not a huge fan of. I can only guess she's 'more than' like Wolf is.🤷🏻‍♀️

I enjoyed the narrator. She did a good range of distinctive voices that were easy to recognise!

I've already bought book2 on audio as I haven't got a kindle currently.😭 I hope that ending is explained.💔😢😠

Oh I have fun with this one

There is action, there is tension, there is 🌶
Plot twists 👍
World building 👍
Bingeability 👍
It has all favorite romance tropes, but is not predictable or cliche. In short, paranormal romance done well. Highly recommend.

Loved it

Loved the story but the narrative kept repeating lines now and again like there was a glitch

This feels streeetched

Despite my annoyance that book one felt incomplete, I persevered with Book 2 (expecting books 1&2 to combine into what felt like a full novel). Unfortunately I was disappointed, the story felt stretched very thin with our protagonist finding out a few things but none of it really going anywhere (plus she and Warwick STILL haven’t got in on 😂). This whole series needs better structure. It’s still pretty engaging, but this feels very much a ‘middle’ book which should not exist on its own. Oh, and it ends on another (less interesting but v similar to first book) cliffhanger
