It’s a lovely story, with a renewed love life by not one but two men who adore her. There’s conflict of course, but they overcome it for the good of all. Great narration of a kinda naughty romance.

Wonderful triple narration from Teddy Hamilton, Kelsey Navarro and Corvin King


When Aubree suffered the devastating loss of her husband, she knew she had to stayed strong and carry on for Miles and Evie her twins. Working with her grandma in the family bakery, who sadly dies four years later.
On separate days two gorgeous men Hayden Shae and Brody Fields walk into the bakery, and ask her on a date. She is hesitant until her friend gives her the push . Bree struggles with how to choose between them. But releases something can make it work.
The steamy parts were absolutely steamy, brilliant humour and characters.

What the Heart Wants by Nikki Ash is a curvy single mom romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Teddy Hamilton, Corvin King, and Kelsey Navarro.

I absolutely love Nikki's books! She always gives me all the feels with each of her books. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Hayden, Brody, and Aubree. They had their ups and downs, but you couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Teddy, Corvin, and Kelsey did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you like contemporary romances, single mom romances, or why choose romances.

Nikki Ash never ceases to amaze me with her impressive writing style, creative mind, and ability to captivate my attention like nothing else matters except what is going to happen next in her book. And wow, that opening scene was heart-rending, so this book not only grab my attention right from the start but it tugged on my heartstrings too. Aubree lost the love of her life when her husband passed away, and her life was forever changed, but she had two young kids to think of and rearrange her life. She inherited her family’s bakery and does what she loves to do, bake, and she does it well, yet she still struggles financially. And to top it off, she is losing her affordable apartment, and the landlord has been harassing her to break her lease and close the bakery. Hayden has been competing with his sister for the CEO position in their father’s company, but his father tells if he can get the bakery to break their lease the position was his. But when he goes to the bakery to speak to the owner, and not only was he entranced by her but by her baked goods too, and he winds up asking her out instead. Aubree is not interested in dating and shoots him down, then her friend scolds her for not saying yes and tells her she has to say yes to the next guy who asks her. Hayden tells his best friend, Brody, about Aubree and now he needs to check her out for himself, and he does and Brody asks her out. Aubree had to say yes and their date went very well and when Hayden stopped in again, he asked her out again too and she said yes. Aubree did not have any interest or feelings toward any man since her husband, but she felt that same feeling for both guys. She did not know these two men knew each other or that they both knew she was dating the other, but she was not sure how long she could keep it up or what she should do if she had to choose one of them. Hayden and Brody have other plans, so all they have to do is get her on board. I love, love, loved how everything played out in this beautifully plotted story, how the men wooed her, their patience with her and how great they were with her kids, who were adorable and stole a few of the scenes. There is never a dull moment in this book and the story has a perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions, and steamy polyamorous romance. Nikki Ash, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧   And for the exceptional narration, Nikki Ash chose the perfect cast to bring her characters and story to life. The wonderfully talented Teddy Hamilton, Kelsey Navarro and Corvin King are entertaining storytellers and their narration enhances this amazing story to another level of awesomeness. Their voices and performances complemented each other’s, and I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I pictured how the characters would sound. Navarro’s Aubree was perfection, playing her like the wonder woman she was, grasping all sides of her personality. Hamilton and King knocked it out of the park as Brody and Hayden, grasping all sides of their personalities too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. Thank you for another amazing listen.

What a beautiful, emotional MFM. At first, I was concerned because MFM stories are not my favorite. But I love Nikki Ash so I had to listen. And I ended up loving the story. The relationship between Bree, Hayden and Brody was beautiful- emotional, well characterized and deeper than I'm used to in MFM stories. This story showcases how an unconventional relationship can work with all parties achieving a deep connection. A great supporting cast, including Hayden's awful family, made this story well nuanced and interesting. And the amazing narration by Teddy Hamilton (obviously), Kelsey Navarro (of course) and Corvin King (new to me) elevated the story and made this an auditory experience. This was an entertaining and enjoyable listen! All 3 main characters were sweet, so caring for one another, and their easy relationship worked out very well! Bree is a widowed mom of twins who finds love with not one but two men. The relationship flowed seamlessly and just felt natural as listening. I loved how Brody and Hayden not only gave Bree time to be all in and ok with everything but they way they each cared for and loved her kids was heart-melting!

I loved that there was a different narrator for each main character pov. My first listen with Corvin King and I enjoyed his narration. Kelsey Navarro Foster and Teddy Hamilton meshed well with Corvin and we’re a great match for Aubree, Brody, and Hayden.

What the Heart Wants makes my heart stop in the first chapter!! Holy wow! I was NOT expecting that.

WTHW is about Bree Heart & her twins. She meets Hayden & Brody at her coffee shop & bakery. She immediately hits it off with both of them (separately) not knowing that they are besties & roommates.

Those first sparks eventually lead to some seriously hot times!! Hayden & Brody are awesome for Bree but even more they are great with her kiddos!

Kelsey & Teddy were fabulous as Bree & Brody. Corvin is new to me and I will most certainly be looking for more of his work. He makes Hayden soooo yummy!
