About this listen
Last year at Cherringham High, and for three girls that means facing the School Summer Challenge, a grueling fifty-mile hike across the Cotswolds, through thick woods, over steep hills, camping each night under the stars. But when one of them disappears in the middle of the night and is found dead in the morning, most believe a terrible accident has taken place. Was it really an accident? Jack and Sarah aren't convinced - and soon discover that secrets and lies can have terrible consequences... and always leave a trail... Set in the sleepy English village of Cherringham, the detective series brings together an unlikely sleuthing duo: English web designer Sarah and American ex-cop Jack.
Thrilling and deadly - but with a spot of tea - it's like Rosamunde Pilcher meets Inspector Barnaby. Each of the self-contained episodes is a quick read for the morning commute, while waiting for the doctor, or when curling up with a hot cuppa.
Co-authors Neil Richards (based in the UK) and Matthew Costello (based in the US), have been writing together since the mid 90's, creating content and working on projects for the BBC, Disney Channel, Sony, ABC, Eidos, and Nintendo to name but a few. Their transatlantic collaboration has underpinned scores of TV drama scripts, computer games, radio shows, and - most recently - the successful crime fiction series Cherringham. The narrator of the audiobook, Neil Dudgeon, has been in many British television programmes including the roles of "DCI John Barnaby" in "Midsomer Murders" and "Jim Riley" in "The Life of Riley". He is also known for his film roles in "The Nativity", "Sorted" and "Son of Rambow". In 2012 Dudgeon starred as "Norman Birkett" on BBC Radio 4's Afternoon Play series written by Caroline and David Stafford.

Audible , please continue to make the compilations of 3 titles in one.
I have emailed you, but no joy as yet. 31,32&33 should be the next compilation for us to buy 3 stories with 1 credit.
Thank you

another cracker!!
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
Reminds me of Duke of Edinburgh course from my own school days. No adults, a group of girls trekking across the countryside, map reading, camping, fire making and of course piping hot chocolate.
Only difference is we all came back.
My only negative criticism and to be fair it didn't really spoil the story, just made me lol at the wrong moment. Is when Neil Dudgeon mispronounced "Quantico" and said "Quant-T-GO." Whoopsy Neil.
Not many left in this series now and will be sad once I finish them.
Great short listen for 2 hours of knitting and a Welcome distraction from the world.
Darker than the usual tales.
