About this listen

The man, the myth, the legend.

Jim, the Mayor of Noobtown, journeys to the depths of Ordinal in search of Jarra before he prepares for war against the Dark Overlord. He is doing his best, but outside forces keep getting in his way. Between playing politics, the increasing difficulty of avoiding the admins, and building an army, does Jim even have time to formulate a plan for victory? Worse, can he deal with the consequences of the impending battle? After all, a war is coming. Not everyone can survive.

The Return Of Jim, Skart and Badgelor

The eighth installment of this highly humourous and enjoyable series.

Ryan Rimmel manages to keep the pace and humour as you will have grown to expect, and the long running jokes are still running and have not run out of breath,

Stay Sharp and dont forget your Puma Checks

5/5

the narrator and the story was made for each other. I'm sure a lot of these jokes wouldn't work with a different narrator. the setup for some of these joke are pure genius. each one of these books have me laughing out loud. I dont know how they keep going over my head until the shoe actually drops, they are so obvious but they always catch me off guard. the BDE chapter was a classic. love all these references and the fact that I'm old enough to get 99% of them lmao. 10/10

Another strong book it will feel like a long wait for the next

Another really good book laughs and tears. One thing though if i may be presumptuous to ask could you please slow down a little johnathan I love your narration but as your skill lvl increases so is your elocution speed, which I assume is some sort of narrator mind control trick because my eyes glaze over and my focus is lost mid battle until I hear pumacheck or one of the companians breaks the spell.

Sadly disappointed

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been waiting for this book for years or if it’s just that my tastes have changed but I really didn’t enjoy this audiobook, I stuck with it until I had about 2:20hrs to the end and I came to the conclusion that I just don’t care,

It’s a weird one, I’ve felt that this whole book has struggled to keep me engaged and I’ve had to force myself to listen thinking that it will click at some point and I’ll go back to enjoying it like all the others, but it just didn’t happen for me.

Maybe it just me, hopefully everybody else enjoys it but this is the end of the series for me.
