A must read or listen for everybody

Even though this book's title is about body image anxiety, it offers so much more, and I am grateful for the opportunity to listen to it.
The subject of body dysmorphia is close to my heart. One of my family members suffers from it. It's very challenging as, most of the time, I do not know how to support her the right way. The fear of body criticism is real, and we should accept and understand it.

This book is an eye-opener for me. It offers solid and accessible advice, lots of hands-on activities, meditation practices, techniques to awaken mindfulness, prompts to change behavioral patterns, and much more.
Mental healing from body dysmorphia is a long process, a hard one. Any help along the way is important and this book provides exactly this type of help in a friendly and encouraging way.

A Sure Path to Renewed Confidence

Though I don’t have issues with body dysmorphia, I have a niece who is struggling with body image anxiety and accompanying eating disorders. For years I have been looking for resources to help her, and I find this book particularly useful in that regard.

I love the focus on holistic well-being encompassing empowerment and self-compassion. I was especially impressed by Step No. 10 which discusses how to embrace a life of purpose and fulfillment. The step-by-step approach and actionable advice in the book has made me more equipped to help my niece on her path to self-love and recovery.

Powerful Audiobook!!!

What a very powerful audiobook this is for anyone that is suffering with body dysmorphia, or even worse, eating disorders. I think everyone in the world can relate to this book because we all suffer from things we do not like about our bodies. Not one human on this planet is truly happy with how they look. This I truly believe this. So, the authors have put together this guide to help us accept our bodies and even love them. Like authors say, for anyone that is suffering from an eating disorder, it is very important to seek professional help right away as this is a very serious matter. Everyone in the world needs to read this book!!!
