About this listen

Fall in love with Laurie Gilmore's #1 New York Times bestselling romance set in Dream Harbor, perfect for summer!

Every book in the Dream Harbor series can be read as a standalone.

As a world-renowned chef, single dad Archer never planned on moving to a small town, let alone running a pancake restaurant. But Dream Harbor needs a new chef, and Archer needs a community to help raise his daughter, Olive.

Iris has never managed to hold down a job for more than a few months. So when it’s suggested that Archer is looking for a live-in nanny, she almost runs in the opposite direction.

Now, Iris finds herself in a whole new world. One where her gorgeous new boss lives right across the hall and likes to cook topless… Keeping everything strictly professional should be easy, right?

The Strawberry Patch Pancake House is a cozy romantic mystery with a single dad and found family dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed!

What can I say I fell in love with the story and I loved the characters in it, I constantly had a smile on my face every time they were getting closer and closer together and I loved every minute of it, the only thing I found a bit difficult was the person reading the book to me but I got used to it in the end, I loved the ending and the spicy scenes in the book too

I love dream harbour ❤️ I love this book not too much spice but enough, I love how Olive settles in with her new family environment. I'd love to know how iris settles in more after the baby. I hope we get glimpses in another dream harbour book 😊

Easy to listen to after the rest in the series. No need to really read this series in order because each story has its own story only links are the characters.

Bit of spicy listening to in the car with company

I loved this book from the first sentence to the last. It's by far the best one in the Dream Harbour serie!
The story of Archer and Iris is very relatable and feels like a warm hug!
And to make it even better, their love story shows that nothing in life can really be planned. Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow and see where the ride takes you, who knows... You might end up somewhere great?

The heartfelt story

I love this series and this new book was just as heartwarming and cute as the rest of them. I love the sweet happy endings they bring ❣️

Heartwarming

The narration here was smooth as maple syrup on a pancake stack. Easy to listen to, well-paced, and just the right amount of warmth. The chemistry Regina Reagan brought into the story made Archer and Iris’s tension pop in the best way—and yes, the scenes with heat were chef’s kiss handled.

I enjoyed the emotional pull and the single-dad storyline, but the plot? Predictable. Gilmore sticks to her small-town romance blueprint like it’s gospel, and after a while, you feel like you’ve been here before. Doesn’t make it bad, just a little samey.

Still, if you’re in the mood for small-town charm, dimples that ruin lives, and a man who is feral but tender? This is the audiobook for you.
