Rain Christiansen isn't sure he'll ever fully understand the supernatural. But he's finally finding his groove as a reluctant medium and cold-case detective. That's not to say everything is going smoothly—there's a wedding in the works, after all. He's finally taking that enormous step with fellow detective, Daniel McKenna, and he couldn't be happier . . . about the marriage. Not so much the wedding. The hoopla is enough to make him wish for a quick flight to Vegas and an Elvis officiant.
At least work is keeping Rain and the PTU plenty busy. Their latest case involves Hannah Caldwell, a silent ghost who can't—or won't—speak. She still manages to request that they find her dear friend, Cherry Parker, so that she can say goodbye. Piece of cake. Finding people is pretty high on the list of things that Rain does best.
But when it comes to ghosts, nothing is ever quite what it seems. Before long, his simple missing person's case takes a dark and twisted turn. And Rain realizes he's been so busy trying to protect Danny that he forgot to protect himself.
If he doesn't turn things around—and quickly—his spooky life might be cut short for good.

a great conclusion to the series
Book four in this series is every bit as good as the last three. The usual great characters, another great storyline and a touch of romance. The narrator is perfect and inhabits the characters brilliantly. Well worth a listen.

wonderful!
I wish I'd stumbled across this series before now!
I loved listening to every book in the series,there's a great storyline with amazing characters and the narration is top notch.
I will happily listen to them all again and can recommend them to anyone that loves a spooky romance series.

fantastic
I love this series and I will ask nicely for more... I have listened to it over and over and I get hook into there world . the first book narrator was good and would of been good all the way through. the second narrator is one of my favourites though so glad they are narrating the rest... thank you again keep writing please

Good
This is a reread. I love this series. This is my least favourite book as I think at this point how is Rain just out here not protecting himself and family. So apart from the 2 chapters that I wanted to scream. It was overall good continuation of the series. I am so happy to realise there is one more book that was released! I’m looking forward to the audiobook to be released too.

Spooktastic
I loved this book so very much. The story was really gripping, the narration was perfect, and I am sad to have reached the end of the series. It's definitely on my re-listen list though.
