The Silent Wife

This is the first Karin Slaughter I haven’t really enjoyed. I skipped a few chapters due to boredom. I also didn’t like the reader. Her interpretations of the accents were quite annoying. Hopefully the next book will be better.

another cracker of a book.

I am beginning to think Karin Slaughter can do no wrong. The way she weaves a tale drags you in and she plays around with your emotions like a pro. I love the communication element that has been added with Sarah and Will. Another top notch story

Great story if you can get past the awful narratio

Great storyline but the narration was awful. I stuck with it the characters voices conjured up some of the characters as comical beings, nick and leah in particular sounded ridiculous and thankfully didn't feature too heavily co.pared to others. one person doing so many character portraits was never going to work.

keeps you guessing.

First audible book although I've read all of the Karin Slaughter books so I was worried that a narrative would waste it for me. This was something I would say to anyone thinking of an audible book go for it. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience it was just as good as reading it by myself.

Brilliant as always.

Karin is very good at researching facts and is very educated in order to be sympathetic when writing about events that have happened to characters. This book is a brilliant read and narrated lovely and clear in order to differentiate between the characters. The only issue is we have to wait a while for the next book...

Great book almost spoiled by reader

Karen Slaughter's story is well up to standard. I really enjoy & rate highly, the Will Trent Series. I persisted with this one. Great story and well written but the pleasure was severely spoiled by peculiar distorted voices that the reader for the various charters. OTT/annoying
The best reader in Will Trent series was George Guidall reading "Triptych". Please use him in future for Karen Slaughter books

Waaaaaay too long

I was so bored with this story. I finished it just to hear the end but the narration was pretty awful. Not my favourite Karin slaughter book.
