Summary

Is your daily life a silent struggle to overcome the challenges posed by ADHD?

Can we live a satisfying life with ADHD as an adult? Why do we feel different, sometimes out-of-sync or overwhelmed by life events? Is anything wrong with us? Don't let the symptoms of ADHD pull you down.

An ADHD brain is wired differently. It does not operate in the same way as a "standard" or neurotypical brain. Most people will see this wiring variation as incorrect or deficient. It isn't. It's just different.

You're fine the way you are!

Today's pace of life demands a lot of our brains and capacities. We all want to be successful in our private life and at work. Often it can be overwhelming, and it's especially true for ADHD-affected people. We all know that ADHD brings substantial difficulties, such as time management, organizational skills, forgetfulness, difficulty finishing chores, mood swings, and interpersonal issues. That can negatively impact our life and worsen the challenges we have to face.

But don't let the symptoms of ADHD pull you down. This audiobook is filled with specific tactics to enhance attention, stay organized, improve relationships, and master emotions, to improve your understanding and better your life.

Written by ADHD expert therapist and internationally acclaimed author of the ADHD Today series, William Ross-Child, The Silent Struggle is a guide to help you overcome your daily challenges and thrive.

Himself an ADHD, Ross-Child draws on his 30+ years of experience guiding others to provide you with time-tested practical strategies which can significantly enhance every aspect of your life.

This revolutionary book will show you how to develop your talents, appreciate your neurodiversity, and how to interact with confidence and clarity.

You'll finally comprehend why you think, feel, and behave the way you do.

A solutions-oriented audiobook to instill confidence and self-trust.

You are fine as you are!

Catastrophizing and badly read

This book makes little allowance for the fact an adhd life is a valid one, catastrophiszing every aspect of adhd life and it presents a worse case scenario approach to understanding adhd. Adhd is far more nuanced and individual that this book lets on. The style
of narration is dry, detached and at times robotic. I’m hoping to find an overall more human approach to adhd than this book presents.
