About this listen

A dark secret and a deadly score to settle.

In 1997 teenager Sophie White and her three girlfriends decide they want to lose their virginity before summer is over.

Roping in her childhood buddy Gareth and his mates, Sophie holds a party to get the deed over and done with, but the night doesn’t end as planned.

Twenty years later, the group are brought back together when Gareth is killed in a car accident and Sophie begins receiving threatening messages. It seems the party wasn’t as innocent as everyone thought, and now someone wants payback.

A gripping, highly addictive game of cat and mouse where the past comes back with vengeance. Perfect for the fans of Kimberley Chambers, Emma Tallon and Jessie Keane.

Long winded

I guessed who the villain was right from the start. Dragged out and the narrators character voices were highly irritating

Gripping! Really enjoy the story

I really enjoyed this book, I couldnt put it down, really well written and narrated. Another book I had to listen to at every opportunity I could, kept me up very late. So much suspense which I loved!!

I did guess who it was mid way through but it still had me hooked to find out why.

Highly recommend. Thank you

enjoyable listen with pleasant characters

I guessed the ending quite early on but just needed to find out who did what to who and when. wouldn't say it was realistic but everyone's childhoods are different. Still enjoyed it.

Pretty good.

The MC was a bit annoying with what was right in front of her face, but overall the book was a good listen. The narration was excellent. I practically figured it out halfway between it all. I recommend it.

Well worth a read or a listen. Well written & well narrated.

This was a well thought out story and really well told by the narrator, who managed to change her voice for each character so that you could believe you were listening to a different person with ease. The story keeps you interested from the beginning and it keeps you guessing pretty much until the very end, who was responsible for what!
I really enjoyed it and I can recommend.

Gripping with a trigger warning

This is my first experience of this writer, and one which of want to repeat. We all like to think we’ve worked out the mystery long before the reveal, and whilst I did crack some of the case it was by no means all. With more twists and turns than a waltzer ride, I was gripped throughout. In tackling some challenging topics of teenage sex and relationships, I think it should probably come with a trigger warning just in case you unknowingly step into it.

I listened to this on audio and almost had a heart attack when I came to the end of it and then heard an unfamiliar voice behind me. It turned out to be an interview with the author, which was really quite good. In it she discusses the inspiration for her writing, including her approach to writers block.

All in all I thought this was a great read, and look forward to reading more by the author.

Good but I guessed!

I liked the idea but I guessed who did it very early on so that was frustrating
