When Eve is violently raped on her way out to meet a friend, and the police have no clues to find her attacker, she vows to get revenge on the man who assaulted her.

Considering the subject matter, this story may not appeal to everyone however, it appears very early on in the book and the focus of the book is Eve trying to bring justice for herself.

Mainly told from Eve's point of view, it is occasionally told from others in the story, although I didnt personally think the POV of Eves attacker added much to the story overall. The other characters are likeable and believable.

I listened to this via an audible book and the narration is very good, and the characters easy to tell apart.

This is the 3rd Gemma Rogers book I have listened to in recent weeks and this was easily the best one for me.

Over all, definitely worth a listen or read.

Wow. Gemma Rogers has creepy, terrifying rapist man ,the stuff of nightmares , down to a tee.
I winced and recoiled from the description of Ian.
Very very good and so very thought provoking

This book truly got my attention. My first book by this author and definitely not the last. I found the narrator a little robotic but after a while I got used to it.

Really enjoyed this book even though I thought the ending was a little too carried away with how the story proceeded with the main character dating her own rapisf. There was something about the book however,that had me gripped from the very start. Plus this was a freebie from Audible so I thought I'd give it a go. Just downloaded another two books by the same author and which are freebies from good o!d Audible once again. I say go for it and have a listen. Now deciding which one out of the two I'm going to listen to next. See past the unbelievable parts of this book like I did and just go for it. I do t feel like I've wasted my time. Just couldn't rate it 5 stars though sadly. 4 stars from me ****
