About this listen

Is a vegan diet healthier? Should I try going low-carb? Is it always a bad idea to skip a meal? Are superfoods all they're cracked up to be? Is fat still bad for you? Can I eat to improve my chances of conceiving?

Recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to nutrition, this ground-breaking audiobook has the answers to all your food-related questions, covering every conceivable topic—from gut bacteria to weight management, to heart health and immune support, to vegan diets and intermittent fasting and everything in between.

With an accessible Q&A approach, this nutrition audiobook will debunk popular food myths and diets, redefine nutrition in the modern world and enable you to make informed decisions that are best suited to you, about what, when and how to eat.

The audiobook's easily digestible, evidence-based advice will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to assess the often misleading claims of diet gurus and develop an approach to nutrition that works best for you.

Everything you need

This isn’t sexy, funny and is quite frustratingly structured at times. However, this is an evidence based one stop shop for nutrition information. Don’t pay attention to other comments about biases or ‘up-to-date’ research. It presents the information you need to make informed decisions which is often at odds with influencers on instagram. I’m a nutritionist and I certainly rate this book highly.

Great book just not a great audiobook

Clearly a great book but lots of numbers and stats for a audio book making it hard at times to follow. No clear table of contents / chapters so difficult to listen to the bits of interest.

Changed my mindset completely

I have followed and listened Rhiannon’s podcast for years so thought I would take the time to listen to her audiobook. Little did I know it would completely change my whole mindset on eating and nutrition. I have lived with disordered eating over half my life, always on some form of diet and it’s only now in the months after listening to her book I understand the concept of mindful eating. She explains the impact each piece of food you eat has and teaches you that food isn’t the enemy. I now think about all the goodness that is in every piece of food that I eat making every meal time a positive experience and thank this book for that!

Nice but not so well organized

There's a lot of great info here but the topics at points in the book start to be almost random and unrelated to the chapter's title which threw me off multiple times.

I'd imagine it'd a great book,

But not a good audio book. Too many tables being read out, or lists. Whenever she starts talking about something interesting she stops after a sentence and says "Look at the attached pdf"

Full of information

This audiobook is perhaps better suited to print than audio, there is so much information but feels like a text book is being read to you at times. The information is good but perhaps not the best fit for an audio book. Also agree with other reviewers, that the audio book frequently relates to the associated PDF which does not exist. useful if you are wanting to learn but would not recommend for an audiobook on this topic.

This book covers boughtly the human nutrition

It provide scientific background information of nutrition. I recommend this book. what I like the most is that it touches and covers the needed nutrition from infant to elders. And it discussed the different types of diet.

Very scientific book

This is book is great, it’s scientific and provides so much data to be aware of.
However as an audio, can be difficult to follow, as it’s not really storyline to it.
I was impressed with it that I actually bought the book for ease of reference, and also to have the ability to go back easily and find info.

Thanks
