Summary

He's investigating her people - so why can't she resist him?

Rory's been an outcast her whole life, never feeling like she fit in with the other necromancers. With the Shifter Council investigating a rogue, her loyalties are torn between the people she doesn't belong to, and the shifter she can't seem to stop thinking about.

When Alden saves Rory one night, the attraction between them becomes too difficult to ignore, and he finally starts to accept that she could be his mate.

The Necromancer's Prey is the third book in the completed Paranormal Council series. It is Rory and Alden's full story.

Magic romance

The Necromancer’s prey is a sweet story with a difference. Rory may be a Necromancer’s but she’s also an anomaly. She doesn’t use or understand the full extent of her magic. When a rogue Necromancer’s needs to be found she has to work with the paranormal council to bring them in.

Alden and Rory have a connection right from the start. Rory doesn’t fit with her people and hasn’t had much experience with the opposite sex. Alden is a shifter but straight away he feels like something more than anyone ever has. Can the pair work together to find the rogue Necromancer and their happy ever after?

A mystery and a romance. Alden is a bird of prey shifter and Rory is an inexperienced Necromancer’s. This made an interesting tale. The paranormal council series is essentially a set of standalone set of stories but is enhanced when read in order.

4.5 out of 5. Same narrator as book 1 & 2.

Short but full

So much going on throughout this short story. The romance was instant but it still grew in strength and comfort which was a great new way to see a romance. I liked seeing other characters from the series. The type of supernaturals they are were unique as well. The narrator did a great job on bringing the characters to life.

Paranormal Romance

The Necromancer’s Prey by Laura Greenwood is a shifter romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Libby Kerk.

I just love Laura’s Books! They always leave me begging for more! I cannot wait for the forth book in the series The Vampire’s Bite to be released on audible.

Libby did a great job on the narration. I cannot wait to listen to more of her projects in the future.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Paranormal Romances.

Paranormal romance

I enjoyed this book, it was fast paced, romantic and no angst, a perfect short read, and I really liked the idea of a necromancer that was squeemish about blood, and named after a Disney Princess! Libby Kirk's narration was wonderful, helping to bring the characters to life. I'm looking forward to the next book.
