great listen. kept me interested throughout. Lots of twists. but didn't see the plot twist regarding Daphney coming at all.

This is a more gentle book than the first, although in the last 4 hours the tone changes somewhat (had to turn the book off sharply when it came on automatically on the school run!). Interesting to catch up with some of the characters but glad I got it in a 2 for 1 would have felt a credit wasted otherwise. Not a bad book but an unremarkable one.

I loved everything about this audiobook. I felt so connected to all the characters that I really did not want the story to end. I loved the pace of the novel; the portrayal of the characters; the descriptions; the period detail and the excellent accents of the narrator. These really brought the characters to life and made the story even more engrossing. What a wonderful audiobook! I enjoyed every moment.

Not as good as the the 1st but as expected. Found change in names and the men gaining really husky deep voices frustrating asif they were drunk! However the book was great still and lovely story worth a credit!

I loved the girl with no name so was eager to read this, however the narration isn't as good and the continuity for the characters is lost. Caro is turned into a dippy woman, not the confident woman in the first book for instance. I didn't much like the voices for Charlotte and Billy either but others are ok. overall another hit, if you can forget its not Bea Holland narrating
