About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
What if your son had murdered someone?
Sarah always thought of herself and her husband, Tom, as good people. But that was before their son, Freddy, came home saying he'd done something terrible. Begging them not to tell the police.
Soon Sarah and Tom must find out just how far they are willing to push themselves, and their marriage, to protect their only child....
As the lies build up and Sarah is presented with the perfect opportunity to get Freddy off the hook, she is faced with an impossible decision....
Save her son...or save herself?
©2021 Jane Corry (P)2021 Penguin AudioMy only point id like to make is on the narration itself, for me with stories that jump back and forward with different characters like this did, it would have been better to have a male voice play Tom, and maybe other narrators for different characters, in the beginning due to the same woman narrator it did leave me a bit confused on who was speaking if it was Tom or Sarah!
Emotional rollercoaster
