TWO'S COMPANY, THREE'S FATAL

'Do you remember me?' she asked, after stepping into my office.

When private detective and former teacher Henry Kimball is hired to investigate an ex-pupil's cheating husband, he senses all is not quite what it seems, and before he knows it he's gotten far too close to the other woman.

As the case gets ever stranger, he turns to the only person he can trust, Lily Kintner, someone with dark secrets of her own...

With its ingenious clockwork-like plot, and twists aplenty, The Kind Worth Saving is a crime novel to savour from a modern master.

Good but...

Ok found the story slightly unbelievable, definitely worth a read though! Love lilly to bits! Reading more about the detective was good too...

Love it!

My favourite book ever is The Kind Worrh Killing so when this sequel was released I was excited. I ordered it hardback and audible. And I was not disappointed. The plot is fabulous and twisty. Love the narration from all 4 readers. Was so pleased to find out what happened to Lily and Henry after the end of the first book and I am really hoping Peter writes a 3rd in the series. I have listened to this dozens of times, I use it as a sleep story when I can’t sleep. Fabulous!

Great sequel to The Kind Worth Killing

Enjoyed the first book - the kind worth killing - and enjoyed moving onto this sequel straight after. It was a story in its own right but with a very satisfactory and fitting conclusion to the first. The characters are great and having got to know them from the first it worked well, same great narration and recommend both books!

Good, but a teeny bit disappointing

I couldn't wait for this follow-up to be released after loving the first instalment.
The narration was excellent, and the characters became more rounded as the story went on. However, I felt the storyline had no real element of surprise or suspense. The whole way through the story, I was expecting a twist, which didn't come.
I enjoyed it but not quite as unputtable downable as the first!

Lily Kittner is back

Lily Kittner is back in a worthy sequel to The Kind Worth Killing. Works as a standalone book too.
