Summary
In this prequel to the NO. 1 INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING phenomenon of TIKTOK fame, They Both Die at the End, two new strangers spend a life-changing day together after Death-Cast make their first fateful calls.
Meet Orion and Valentino.
It’s the night before Death-Cast goes live, and there’s one question on everyone’s mind: Can Death-Cast actually predict death, or is it an elaborate hoax? Orion Pagan has waited years for someone to tell him that he’s going to die, given his serious heart condition. Valentino Prince has a long and promising future ahead of him and only registered for Death-Cast after his twin sister nearly died in a car accident.
Orion and Valentino cross paths in Times Square and immediately feel a deep connection. But when the first End Day calls go out, their lives are changed for ever – one of them receives a call . . . the other doesn’t.
Told with acclaimed author Adam Silvera’s signature bittersweet touch, this story celebrates the lasting impact that people have on each other and proves that life is always worth living to the fullest.

Predictable ending
Overall, you could sense the ending from the events which had happened through the story bit it was excellently written and narrated.

Another hit from Adam Silvera
I've literally read/listened to every one of Adam Silvera's books and this is one of his standard affairs - Make you fall in love with the characters and break your heart at the exact same time. Thank you, Adam, for hurting me once again 😂

Highly recommend
I love this audio book so much, the narrators made it easy to follow. The story itself is amazing and so sad. Love how Adam linked it back to the first book. ❤️❤️

Great prequel
Was nice returning to this world again, to the beginning. Another heartwarming story and some familiar characters that brought a smile. This will never be an epic tale but a good comfort read on a chilly day, with fluffy socks & cocoa, waiting to have your heart broken after it's been swollen to 3 times it's size.

I'm not crying you are!
Honestly there were so many moments in this book that we just so cringe inducing that they wrapped back around and became heartwarming.
What you could potentially label as "plot twists" arent really twists and there's kinda this vibe of like once you know the characters involved you kinda know where the next few scenes are going, but its great all the same.
Only read if you want to cry I guess? But it's good and I thought the narration was pretty good as well.
