About this listen
Now, Hemlock is being tricked into a hazardous assignment that involves an attempt to scale one of the most treacherous mountain peaks in the Swiss Alps: the Eiger. His target is one of his three fellow climbers. The problem is that the CII can't tell him which one.
This spine-tingling adventure, part thriller and part satire, introduces an intriguing cast of villains, traitors, and beautiful women into a highly charged atmosphere of danger and suspicion that builds to a death-defying climax.

its a classic

The story was great and enjoyable, worked well despite it being written many years ago.
I did work it all out quite early on, but it didn't detract from it at all..
Great work

Notwithstanding this it’s a pretty good story which I think (hope?) written as a bit of tongue-in-cheek.
Yes it’s sexiest and dates. But ….

Great narration , thoroughly enjoyable
As good as the movie
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
There is an unlikely amount of sex which doesn’t add anything for the most part. References to race are mostly out of date and may be offensive, yet there’s a a decently strong black female character whose colour is (nicely) matter-of-fact.
I was engaged by the plot, especially the Eiger chapters which kept me hooked. It was rather predictable though.
The narration was pretty good with characters’ accents clearly distinguishable.
A decent adventure yarn if out of date and predictable
