Summary
The celebrated story of how Marshall Mathers went from school and low-paid jobs in his native Detroit to global superstardom, rehab and comeback. a few details I didn't know about em
The narrator, at the start doing impressions / voices of the people he was talking about Eminem's was the worst then half hearted effort to do this half way through and some lyrics he is reciting weren't even 100% accurate. I am glad this was my free credit I used to purchase this Audio book. could have been much better...don't waste time listening to this

Ok
Book was a nostalgic walk down memory lane of early songs but drifted a bit towards end.

Great Eminem Account
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook about the genius that is Eminem. It starts off slow telling you about the early days of Detroit but it eventually gets going and when it does…wow what a story. You feel so sorry for the little blonde haired kid getting bullied all the time but if he never had all that done to him would we have had the lyrics and songs we have grown up listening too ? I’m glad he made it big through sheer determination and skill. His use of his alter ego “ Slim Shady “ really blew his career up and people took him seriously then. Highly recommend if you want to know about, in my opinion the greatest Rap God ever !
