About this listen
Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother.
And that his best friend has a crush on me.
And that I just moved in with them.
Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates?
I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. I’ve got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he’s missing?
He knows where to find me.

The fighting between Summer and Fitzy lasted far too long for my taste. It would have been ok if there were a few chapters, but 80% of the book was a bit much. After they made up, the book was fantastic but it was too little of the book left. It was unnecessary to involve Hunter, I hope he gets his chance in his book. I guess it was just a little too much fighting between them and was frustrating that they could not just make up earlier 😅
Overall the book was good and give it a chance! Summer and Fitzy are a good match for each other 🫶🏼 loved that Fitzy could feel safe too talk to Summer when he finally lets her in!
Good!

Loved this

The only note I have is that the male narrator wasn’t the best with the sexier scenes.
I loved it!

Love Elle Kennedy, but not my favourite book

It wasn’t the usual get together, then break up, then get back together which makes a change. I also liked the underlying story with the creepy professor. Added a bit of angst.
Narrators did a great job - they are two of my favourite narrators, particularly Mr Morgan whose voice is sexy as heck!
My only criticism would be lack of epilogue. However I have no doubt they will both reappear in the next books in the series. So all is not lost.
Not the usual

Colin and Summer.
I dunno you guys...I kinda shipped her and Hunter. Sigh. I mean did I hate Colin? NO. He's a tatted up nerd who plays hockey...Summer said it herself, he's a unicorn. But...I feel bad for Hunter.
This book not only had a hecking cute love story (minus that part where they kinda lead each other on there for a beat) but it covers some pretty solid topics; emotional abuse from parents, ADHD and handsy professors being the main topics. Also slut shaming is covered too.
The cameo's of the Off Campus guys made my heart happy
Great narrators for a great story
