Summary

'Britain's top dog whisperer... a canine-human Esther Perel' The Observer

Wouldn't you love to know what your dog was thinking?

The truth is that your dog is communicating with you all the time but, unless you know the signs, you aren't picking up on what your dog wants you to know.

Louise Glazebrook is a dog behaviourist, trainer and television presenter who specialises in teaching people how to understand and connect with their dogs.

In The Book Your Dog Wishes You Would Read, Louise tackles everything from bringing the right dog home, understanding body language and breed behaviour, responding to common behavioural issues, to the toys and games that you and your dog will both love.

Most dog trainers focus on the dog, but Louise focuses on you, the owner, giving you the skills and confidence to interpret your dog's needs and behaviour and build a better, happier relationship for life.

Best book you could read about dogs! thank you!!

loved it! Louise was easy to listen to, she kept me engrossed and I learned so much! We have a 6month old Dalmatian as well as an older Lab so it was so helpful towards working with both. Definitely recommend to anyone

Outstanding knowledge

This book is a real gem. Outstanding knowledge backed by real world experience and practice. Not theoretical but realistic and grounded advice. I am studying advanced dog behavioural science and this book enhanced my own understanding immensely. I recommend it to my clients each and every day.

brilliant....A must read before you take a dog on.

An amazing book that I wish I had read before taking on my Rescue Springer Spaniel. All responsible dog owners should read this and definitely a must have if your considering a life long commitment of owning a dog...brilliant and brilliantly read.

Excellent

Even though I’ve had dogs in my life for all of my 78 years, by listening to this book I am encouraged by what I’ve done right, but also seeing where I went wrong at times.

I thoroughly recommend it for those who want a dog and present dog owners.

I can now understand my present little dog more, and other dogs too.

Most of all I can now see why and how I’ve managed to own a most delightful and loving little 2 year old dog. Who is well behaved and admired by so many. I had instinctively done a lot of what Louise recommends with this little bundle who I had at the age of 8 weeks, during the second COVD lockdown.

I will be recommending this book to any dog lovers that I get into conversation with in future.

Incredible book, which is most personal, genuine, insightful & helpful book I’ve read of this category. Superb to actually hear Louise narrate this too! The world would not be a better place for dogs without her! Thank You Louise!
